I choose IT because I'm interested in this. Faculty: students ratio is about 1:10 There is one teacher for every 10 students. To be a teacher in this college you must have an Engineering degree like btech, mtech. Exams are always conducted on time and passing is Little much difficult mnot that much

Companies like ash infotech provide internships and roles as developers. A project like selecting how many vehicles passed in 1 HR on the highway by making a project based on python. Machine learning project. AI-based projects.

Placement Experience

After 6th-semester students can apply for jobs or placements. Companies like Samsung, Amazon, Birla cement, kangaroo, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and many more companies visit our college. The highest package is around 24 lakh and the average is around 5 lakh. I want to start my startup as an online business.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for one semester including the hostel is around 60000 and there is a scholarship for all students, to take a scholarship you have to pass exams or mock tests. I am applied for a PMS scholarship currently. I applied for an internship but was not able to select it.

Campus Life

College life is cool there are friends, the campus is clean and green there is a positive environment. Annual meet, athletes meet conducted every year and there is a cultural event also there. Every sport is played in college. Our college is played on the national level. There are many clubs in college. You can join any of them.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good. The room is neat and clean. Every week room is cleaned by staff. The meal is good. Hostels provide three times meals a day. The registration process is easy you just have to submit an application regarding the room you want to take.

Hostel Fee: INR 28625 per year

Admission

To be eligible to take admitted to this college you must pass the 12th board with a minimum of 75% marks. You can get the application form online from the GNDEC website. Application fees are around 2000 rupees. Admission process little more time.

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

As this college was nearest to my home . It is. Also one the most popular college in Punjab. It is most affordable college . I didn't applied to any other college . Best engineering college in ludhiana

I applied in pcte college ludhiana and gndec ludhiana i got a confirmed admission in btech in computer science engineering specialized in AI and ML at pcte college ludhiana but i wanted to take admission in gndec as it is more reputed than pcte and also a very old and valued college and i first got admission in btech in electrical engineering in gndec ludhiana i took on this opportunity then changed my branch to btech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission process is that you first have to wait for ptu to start online counselling then you can register in the counseling for 2000 rupees and if not selected in every round of ptu counseling there is a last chance at gndec when it organizes a direct counseling session distributing seats merit wise for btech in electrical u must have at least 65-70% in 12th boards exams then if you are offered a branch change then u can by giving 1000 rupees. My admission went smoothly but keep in mind u have to give 70000 rupees at direct counselling or just before admission if u are not availing any type of fee waiver...Read More
