Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Civil Engineering because at that time I wanted to join the government sector and civil engineering used to have maximum vacancies then. Also, my father is a Civil Engineer so that also kind of motivated me. The student-to-faculty ratio could be said 20 is to 1. Most of the faculty have a doctoral degree and mostly theory was taught by them. Exams were held every 3 months.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 25000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was around Rs 12000/- per semester. A lot of scholarship was given to students based on caste. SC & ST students had to pay no fees. Other Backward castes and Girls were also given some benefits.

Campus Life

Aureole is the name of the annual technical and cultural fest held in February. A lot of books and journals are available in the library. The classroom has basic amenities like furniture, Tubelight, ceiling fans, etc. Sports and extracurricular activities are practiced by students in the evening. NCC is also there. There is a social service club as well.

Admission

During our time we had to appear for an entrance exam. The name of the exam was JEE Mains. It used to happen once a year. Based on that exam, 60% of the score was calculated and the remaining 40% was based on our 12th board exam. Based on that a common merit was declared. Then we had to apply for college. The college application form was available on the MP online website in the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) section. Then we have to select various colleges and their respective branch. As it was a government college in Madhya Pradesh and I have a domicile in the state we are given 85% reservation in the colleges. Therefore, I availed of reservation benefits based on State Quota. The admission process was a mix of online and offline activities. During that time the website of DTE, Mp online was not very user-friendly. It used to hang a lot it would have been better if the website performance was good.

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.
