Course Curriculum Overview

4

With the advent of Commerce in everyday life it's necessary to know about this field. So, I opted for BCom LLB though I was from a PCM background. There are 20 students in our class. The teacher is very experienced and mostly are Ph.D. holders. They teach the practical application of the subject with the help of case studies, class debates, activities, presentations, etc. The university exams usually get delayed and postponed. The exams are easy to pass.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Various online and offline internships are provided by the college. Government Internships are the primary focus of internships. Various internships in tier-2 law firms are offered. There is also an Internship and Placement Cell in the college. Many Internships in the various State Legal Service Authorities, Central Bureau of Investment, Ministry of Law and Justice, etc are provided.

Placement Experience

3

Placement camps are organized in which many law firms and companies take part. Students from the third year onwards get placed. The highest package is 14 lakhs. My plan after graduation is to go into the field of the judiciary for which the college has 'Your Lordship' which provides materials and lectures for the judiciary.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Different types of scholarships are provided in various fields. At the time of admission, scholarships are awarded based on CLAT, AILET, and LSAT rank; class 12th marks; international, national, and state level awards; etc. While studying scholarships can be availed by marks in university-level exams, attendance, winning moots, etc. I availed 50% scholarship on the basis of CLAT rank. So my annual fee is 75000. No concession on hostel fees. One has to pay whole fee.

Campus Life

3.5

There are many societies in the college like moot court society, ADR center, research and writing center, debate society, trial advocacy, your lordship (for judiciary), cultural cell, etc. The annual cultural fest is known as Catalyst which is conducted in March. The library is well equipped with books. The reading room is also there. The college has an e-subscription to SCC online, Hein online and another database. The college has football ground, basketball ground, badminton court, indoor games etc. The college has its official account in facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel is a bit expensive as compared to PGs here in Greater Noida. The hostel has a gym, playground, badminton court, volleyball ground, basketball ground, gym, indoor games, etc. The food is good compared to other hostels in Greater Noida. Fruits, milk, and curd are given every day other than usual meals. There are common washrooms in the hostel. The girl's hostel is on the campus while the boy's hostel is at a distance of 5km from the college. The room has one cupboard, a table with table lights to study. Laundry is provided two times a week. There is a vending machine in the hostel and also a canteen on the campus. There are rooms of single occupancy, double occupancy, triple occupancy, and quadruple occupancy (all either AC or non-AC).

Admission

CLAT rankers up to 10000 are directly selected. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of CLAT rank, AILET rank, LSAT rank, 12th Class Percentage, and other criteria. Students can also appear for the internal test + personal interview conducted by the college. The application form was sent via email while applying for admission. The application is also available on the site of college.

Though at the end of 6th semester the companies pay a visit for selecting students but we are provided with ample of internships in between. Around 60% are placed ever year and rest opt for their start-up or higher studies.
