A nice college experience

I wanted to become a civil engineer so I choose this course. DYPCET is one of the best colleges in Kolhapur city (An autonomous institution). The faculties are very qualified and highly educated in this stream. Mostly they are working as an engineer apart from the college, so they give proper guidance and knowledge about the course.

Companies like DXC Technology, TCS, and Cap Gemini visited the college and offered an internship. Mostly it is like a supervision job and students get much to learn from these internships. Also, Students get paid during the internship.

Students become eligible for campus placement after completing the 6th semester (3rd year) and after completing last year. Many companies visited our college for placement Adobe, Infosys , Bajaj, TCS, and many others companies. Latest from our college one of our students get a 60LPA package which is the highest from our college and it is from the CS branch. The average package is 6LPA considering all branch's placements. Approximately 30-40 percent of students get placed in college. I wanna complete my course and give competitive exams after my degree for Gov. Jobs.

Here students have many types of scholarships like EBC, Panjabraw Deshmukh scholarship, and others for open cast students and minorities and other. TFWS also provided through which if you got admission you have to pay fees of just 15500 for a year and it is selected based on JEE and CET exam score.

It's quite good. Here we celebrate many days like Bollywood day, traditional day, twins day, and many more. For every year a freshers party is there for new students and after that, there was an annual function of the college which was too good. And the campus is good with all the good facilities and all.

It's quite away from the college but the college has provided college buses for the hostel students and the students who live in nearby cities. The hostels are good and clean with all the common facilities. So the hostel facility is good enough.

I completed my 10+2 from JNV Sindhudurga Gov. CBSE school and I have given JEE entrance exam and I scored 87% in JEE, So I got admission under the cap round based on my JEE score for the civil engineering branch.
