Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I opted for a BCom degree. The college is very friendly and supportive. Other than studies Kaveri college encourages students for sports and other social activities. They always give opportunities to young teachers and also give vast exposure to building careers with the help of profile-building activities and speakers. Overall college is very supportive of students.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

I worked for 10 days as an auditor for the company Sany heavy industries India private limited. I completed my internship there and I got a good amount of stipend for those 10 days. One of the great points to placed through college is we are getting paid and getting industry exposure as fresher. There are even other roles such as accountant, associate manager, etc overall the experience of the internship was very good.

Placement Experience

4.5

The college has good number of companies and placement. Internship provided by college gives us scope to study industry area and work culture with it. Companies such us TCS, Tata auto comp, Wipro, persistent etc are available. Average package starts from rs 2,00,000. Overall every student can apply for these placements if eligible.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee was approx 17,000 to 20,000rs. I felt the fee was completely ok. I don't know or heard of any scholarship provided by the college. One thing is if the student is not able to fulfill the fee, the college can assist the student to work in the college and provide placement or internship for the students.

Campus Life

3

I think college lacks in celebrating these days such as Bollywood day, traditional day, and themes. College only focuses on career development courses. College life cannot be much enjoyed for this reason. The college has a library and almost all kinds of books are available. In the case of the sports category students here enjoy a lot as they provide opportunities to grow and compete with other state students.

Admission

Eligibility for bcom minimum 60%. I visited the college for the admission process. The admission process is very easy and handy and comfortable. Admission can be done online and for verification, you have to come to college.

At TCSC placements are quite good as anyone. Even the SOBO colleges and Mithibai don't have placements as good as us. So this is why I always dreamt of studying here because since last 6-7 years, Thakur College placements have gone better and higher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Remarks:

The good thing is that the college was not strict and was never forcing us to study rather it was seeing to it that it gave us proper advice and help us reach more towards my career goal. The bad part would be there were may staff which was very dull and was not kind, and no importance was given to correct their behaviour although it was evident by all.
