Course Curriculum Overview
International Business MBA is the need of the hour. Has emerging career prospects. In the course curriculum, the first year covers courses from all domains of marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, and human resources. The faculty is highly qualified and regularly publishes research papers. Exams are on time after every trimester and if studied seriously are not difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
The details of the internships are available in the summer placement report. The companies who visited, the average stipend, the year-on-year increase and the roles offered are available on the iift website.
Placement Experience
Placements in our college are top-notch. We are very happy with our placement committee and the hard work they put through. The details of all the companies, stipends, and roles offered are available in the placement report. 100% of the students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is lesser compared to other bschools. IIFT has better ROI. There are many opportunities and scholarships offered at the campus. Moreover, students are provided with summer internships and also sit for final placements. The hostel charges are around 1.4 lakhs yearly.
Campus Life
The annual fest is called Quo Vadis. It is scheduled in February itself and this time it is happening after a period of 3 years offline. The library is very beautiful with important journals and magazines. There are many extracurricular activities that happen on campus. Multiple clubs, cells and committees are there. I myself am a part of the International Business Cell.
Hostel Facilities
There is the availability of hostel facilities. We live on the OYO campus. The meal quality is okayish. Not very good. The menu varies day by day and we get food 4 times a day. Registration facility is based on the cumulative score.
Admission
Took the entrance exam of IIFT. After clearing it, waited for further shortlist calls. I got the call for an Extempore and Personal Interview. The improvement I wish to see in the admission process would be to improve the examination centres' selection. The application form is available on the website. It closes before cat's examination
Interview Experience
The topic for GD was How can India succeed in the 21st Century. The interview questions revolved mainly around my work experience and my integration at VIT. Questions were about Mechanical Engineering concepts, particularly thermodynamics. There were also some technicalities asked around the automobile industry and how the PLI scheme can improve it. To prepare for these one needs to be prepared and thorough with the CV
