Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BE in Electronics and Communication engineering because it has more placement opportunities in the future. The faculty in this course are very educated and they also maintain a good relationship with their students. Most of the faculties have done doctorates. The teachers use smartboard facilities for more effective learning and to interact with students more. The term exams were held every month and it was also easy to pass these term exams because the topics were very well explained in class.
Internships Opportunities
EPGI offers various internship opportunities for students. Companies like INTRAINZ, SKILLHAC, VERZEO, and so on offer internship opportunities for students with different projects to provide more experience and knowledge.
Placement Experience
EPGI offers 98% placements for all students with the highest annual package of 24 lakhs from the CSE department. The students become eligible from the 6th semester to try for their placement opportunities. Companies like WIPRO, Amazon, GOOGLE, Infosys, TCS, Microsoft, and many other top companies visit the campus for campus selection.
Fees and Financial Aid
The students who are admitted through KEA have fixed fees which are given by the KEA whereas the students who are admitted through management their fees increase by a certain amount every year. The college offers many scholarship facilities like LILA POONAWALA, SSP, NSP, and so on.
Campus Life
SAMSKRUTHI is the annual fest of EPGI which is held in APRIL/MAY where students from different colleges across Bangalore participate. This fest brings more joy among the students. We eagerly wait for this fest. The college also arranges different cultural events for different occasions such as Christmas, Kannada rajyotsava, and so on. The environment here is good and gives a positive vibe for the students to study with its beautiful infrastructure. The college also hosts sports events frequently. The college has different clubs which provide opportunities for the students to showcase their talents.
Admission
I got admitted through K-CET for BE in Electronics and communication engineering. The college takes students who have passed their 12th with a minimum of 45% score. The K-CET cutoff for the 2021 batch was 64000 for the general category and it differs for special categories. Students can also take admission through the management and the fee for management admission starts from 150000 for different branches.
