EPCET offers a mixed educational experience, with only 5 out of 25 faculty members well-qualified, while others are criticized for sticking to textbook material and being overly strict. Despite this, some faculty are supportive and effective in explaining complex concepts. The college has a robust placement program, boasting an 85-90% placement rate for Computer Science and 80-85% for Electronics and Communication Engineering students. The highest salary package can reach 25 LPA, with an average between 7.5-12 LPA.
Top companies, including Amazon, Infosys, TCS, Google, and Microsoft, frequently recruit on campus. Placement training begins in the first year, with students eligible for recruitment from the sixth semester. The college charges approximately 6 lakh for four years, or 1.5 lakh annually, while students admitted through the Karnataka-CET government quota pay a reduced fee of 2 lakh for the entire duration. KCET students pay 90,060 INR per year, with scholarships of 1 lakh INR annually available.
Management students pay 1.5 lakh INR per year, with fees subject to an annual increase of 20,000 INR. High-achieving KCET students and those scoring above 95% in PUC may receive full fee refunds and free seats, including hostel facilities. Numerous scholarships, including LILA POONAWALA, SSP, NSP, and EPSAT, are available, with the college assisting with applications and providing loans to those in need. Despite the fee structure being affordable compared to other institutions, alternative colleges in Bangalore may offer better prospects for those willing to spend more than 4 lakh.
Overall, EPCET provides extensive scholarships and financial support, enhancing college accessibility while maintaining a stable fee structure for KEA-admitted students.
According to Collegedunia Ranking 2025, EPGI, Bangalore ranks 420 out of 500 colleges in India and 86 in state Karnataka for its BE Electronics & Communication Engineering program.

I am currently in my 3rd year. But as if my seniors campus experience we have good placements. We have coaching for placement cell.. we have student co ordinator for the placement cell. We can access all the companies which come for access and avail help of placement officer of our college who is more supportive for us
The course I opted is Electronic and communication. The subjects are quite difficult but with my faculty and department help, it's made easier and understandable.! It's very interesting with theory and practical knowledge of electronic and communication.
