Course Curriculum Overview
I am enrolled in the PGDM General course. LBSIM is known for Finance and placement in the Finance domain is very good. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:20. All the faculties are highly qualified and the teaching method is also good
Internships Opportunities
The college invites prominent recruiters from all the domains to offer summer internships to its students.100% of the students are provided with summer internships and it is a mandatory part of the curriculum. Prominent recruiters include EY, Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Amazon, etc.
Placement Experience
The placements of the college were very good and students got quite higher packages even during the covid pandemic. The average package during my time was 11 lpa and the highest package offered was 25 lpa. Prominent recruiters included Deloitte, EY, KPMG, DE Shaw, Wipro, Infosys, etc. 100% of the students were placed
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees during my time were 11.67 lacs for the whole course and it has slightly increased year on year. There is also the opportunity for corporate sponsorship. The campus provides 100% placements and summer internships also
Campus Life
The campus life is average, and the size of the campus is quite small. There is a total of 13 clubs in the college which are all student-driven. The college also organizes an annual fest named Tatva in which all the colleges of northern India are invited
Hostel Facilities
There is no on-campus hostel facility available for this college. The hostels are situated around 2kms from the college and transport service is available for them. Facility-wise the hostel is quite average to be fair. Meal quality and the menu are also not good for the hostel.
Admission
I gave CAT and XAT which are accepted by LBSIM, I got 89 percentile in CAT and was shortlisted based on that, admission process consisted of GD and Interview. Application forms can be found on the website of college. The cutoff for PGDM General was 85%tile during my time. Overall the admission process was very smooth and transparent
Interview Experience
The admission process consisted of GD, Extempore and Interview. The topic of my GD was the advantages and disadvantages of social media and it was followed by an extempore of 1 minute, the topic of extempore will be given at that time only. The interview experience was good and questions regarding my work experience and graduation were asked
