Course Curriculum Overview
As far as the faculty-student ratio is considered there are 25 faculties for 300 students. Most faculties have done Ph. d in their respective domains. The pedagogy at the Institute varies from subject to subject, for example in the case of the Market mostly case studies are preferred. There are end terms at the end of each trimester and in between mid terms of 20 marks.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities have certainly improved this year. Companies like Havells, Amazon, and Redbull visited this year. I got my internship in a Data Analysis role at an IT firm. One must look for roles rather than companies.
Placement Experience
Campus placement starts in September and Closes in December. Nearly 50 companies visit every year. Mostly the companies come for consultants role. The average package is in the range of 1100000 - 1200000. The highest package this year has been 25L.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure including tuition fees and hostel fees is nearly 16.5 lakhs. Tuition fees are nearly 13 lakhs and hostel fees for 2 yrs are nearly 3.5 lakhs. Placement season starts in august of the second year.
Campus Life
Tatva is the annual fest which is held in the month of February for 2 days. There is a sports club Zenith which organizes sports events from time to time. There are nearly 13 clubs in respective domains like Marketing, Operations.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is nearly 2.5 km from the campus. It is compulsory for non-Delhi students to stay at the hostel. There is a transportation facility for hostellers. Nonveg food is not served in the mess. The boy's hostel is in sector 9 and the girls' hostel is in sector 7.
Admission
I took CAT in 2020 and based on the result I applied for PGDM at LBSIM, As far as eligibility is concerned requirement is any Graduate degree. The cut-off percentile ranges from 80-85 percentile. Application form can be found at LBSIM's official website, application fees is nearly 2000.
Interview Experience
Yes for selection, candidates have to go through Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Mostly in a panel of GD, there are nearly 10 students in a panel. My topic of GD was Principles vs Ethics. In Personal Interview, it is around the CV.
