Course Curriculum Overview
I got PGPBA in IIMB so I opted for this course, MBA being an essential step in my career and which would give me my first ladder at leadership. Faculties are best in the country with a Master's or Ph.D. in the subject with many years of teaching experience and professional experience as well. There are 3 terms in a year, each time there is a mid-term and an end-term and there are various assignments and projects given. the grading is continuous grading out of 4 CGPA per subject. It is not difficult to pass the terms but it is very difficult to be average as well, since it is a highly competitive space.
Internships Opportunities
More than 200 companies come to the campus, and only in 4 days, more than 500 students are given internships. 529 students got 539 offers. There were many rounds of interview depending on the profile. The profiles were consulting (40%), IB, private equity, analytics, sales and marketing, strategy and growth roles, Product management etc.
Placement Experience
IIMB is a 100% placement guarantee campus, Initially, SIP (summer Internship Process) happens in term 2, and 40-50% people PPO. There are Lateral placements in which students with more than equal to 18 months of work experience are eligible. And then the final placements happen. Around 150-200 companies visit per year, this could go up and low based on market conditions. Profiles are IB, private equity, Consulting, Strategy and growth, Analytics, Product Management, General Management, Sales, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
It is around 26-27Lakhs for a 2-year program, Loans are very easily available. There are many scholarship opportunities for students coming from weaker sections, and even a 100% concession of the fee is also there. I got the summer internship at GEP worldwide which is a consulting company and I will be getting 1.5 lakhs per month for the same.
Campus Life
Many events are going on every day almost, annual fest is VISTA, UNMAAD, EXIMUIUS, and many more. There is sports competition like SANGRAM (b/w IIMB, IIM Tricky, IIMK, IIM Vishakhapatnam, and Sangharsh b/w IIMA/B and C, this year Sangram took place in IIMB and Sangrash took place in IIMC. Eligibility: Graduate. Application form: I found on google, the application dates are in Aug before the CAR. The entrance was CAT, and the cutoff was different for different categories. It is around the 98-99 percentile.
