Overall, the college is good and I would certainly recommend it to friends.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum provided me good knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
The internship was provided by top 5-star hotels. They provided a stipend of Rs.5000 in 2004-2005 exclusive of meals and stay. We generally stayed in PGs with friends.
Placement Experience
They were lot of campus interviews from many good hotels, including top 5-star and 3-start hotels. Almost all the students in our batch were placed, sparing a few.
College Events
Though there were lot of intra- and inter college events organized, I did not participate in any. I preferred not to participate in any cultural events, though the technical events provided us good experience.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Each semester cost around Rs.25000, excluding the uniform, cutlery, hostel fees, mess fee, etc. I feel that the fee structure is expensive. They are not particularly accommodative in providing loan facility.
Fees and Financial Aid
No.I did not avail any loan or scholarship, nor do I have much knowledge about the facilities offered by the college.
Campus Life
The campus life was generally good. Though there was not much extracurricular sport activities, we did have good lab facilities. There was not any partiality based on race or religion.
Hostel Facilities
My friends and I were staying in a PG in Madurai. The rent was around Rs.500 excluding food. We preferred to eat outside in restaurants and other hotels.
Alumni/Alumna
We had a good relationship with the alumni. The seniors mainly helped us in our decisions regarding our internship and career decisions. We still are in contact with some of them.
Faculty
The faculty were good and helped a lot in career decisions, except for the French faculty, who insisted on private tuition and favored students who went to her tuition, providing them good marks.
