Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good and industry-based. Faculties are good and they have strong command over subjects. They also call industry stalwarts for guest lectures and seminars. The ratio is 300:25.All the faculties are Ph. D degree holders with great teaching experience. They conduct 2 exams in each trimester i.e mid-term and final. Both exams are of moderate level but sometimes they make difficult papers for finals.
Internships Opportunities
For internship, most of the companies are visiting from Finance and FMCG domain with stipends ranging from 15k-85k. After the internship students are required to prepare SIP and present it in front of faculties.
Placement Experience
we have a dedicated student-driven Placement cell. Students are eligible from the 4th trimester for placement and the placement is good here. The average package is 12.48 LPA. The highest was 25.6 LPA. Most of the companies are Finance and FMCG companies that come for placement. we have a 100% placement record last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are fine compared to another B school. They also provide merit-based Scholarships to bright students who belong to the EWS category. Most of the students are getting internships in the finance and marketing field with stipends ranging from 15k -85k.
Campus Life
Life on Campus is good. They conduct many events, Seminars at regular time intervals. They conduct an interclub competition called Samarthya and College fest called TATVA. We have access to all the books and journals in the library and even we have a Bloomberg terminal for Global data access.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility isn't up to the mark. They have their boy's hostel in an isolated area. it's near to the campus but the area isn't good. They have all the amenities for the students but the food quality isn't up to the mark.
Admission
we took admission through the CAT exam followed by GD/PI. the overall cut-off was 80+ percentile. Again it depends on the different courses offered by the campus. The application was available on their website and the cost was 1500. For improvement, they need to introduce WAT in the process.
Interview Experience
Yes we had GD and the topic was Demonetisation. After GD we had interviews with the 3 faculties. it was for 40 mins. For interviews, I used to read newspapers for current affairs and I used to discuss with alumni for their experience.
