LBSIM: very good experience

The PGDM general does provide to go through all the basics in the first year, where one can explore their interest in domains. After the end of the first year, students can choose major minors. There are 27 core courses and 12 electives. Students to faculty ratio are 15:1 All faculty are well-versed in industrial experience and have done or pursuing a PhD. We also have faculty passed out from prestigious institutions like IIM Bangalore. LBSIM follow a trimester format, where there are criteria to score 50% in both internals and externals to pass.

From 4th-trimester placement begins. The highest so far is 24.75 lakhs. The avg is 12.42 LPA. And there is a minimum cap of 7.5 LPA. The current batch is 100% placed in the month of November itself.

The fee structure is available on the Website. For us, it cost around 600000 a year without a hostel. It's 1500000 approx if one opts for a hostel. LBSIM is known for its ROI factor. Institutes provide scholarship opportunities. One can apply and interviews are held after that where the panel judges and decides.

The annual fest is held in February called tatva. Where many events are organised. Celebrities like Nikhil D'Souza, harsh guzral etc are invited. The library is huge. Moreover, we are equipped with physical books for every subject for free to read the contents. The infrastructure is top-class. It is upgraded recently. The classroom is equipped with tech and is comfortable. Rantavya is organised by zenith - a sports club. Events like basketball, cricket match, table tennis etc are played. The institute is student-driven and the activities including placement are completely driven by students led bodies

The hostel rooms are twin-sharing. And is available outside the premises under the 3 km area. There is a transportation facility available. Food, and laundry services are there. One can opt hostel by just applying for it.

The cat percentile is 82.4. I got into this college by shortlisting on the cat score There held Group discussion, extempore and personal interview The application form is available on the institute website, one can apply for multiple courses with one form only which costs around 1200. Have not availed any reservations.

Topics were abstract and related to current affairs only. My topic was there is a silver lining to every cloud. Other topics include COVID 19 effects on economy, social media boon or ban etc. The other one is extempore. And in the end followed by personal interviews. I have prepared this by youtube available content, connecting with alums over linkedin and newspapers reading.
