Course Curriculum Overview

I'm so much interested in construction since my childhood. Not only in our department but in all other departments also very good faculty in terms of everything. I don't know much about their qualifications but they are good at teaching and their methods are also simple.

I got an internship offer from Gaja engineering private limited which is a construction company which is located in Hyderabad while doing my internship I got 15000 stipend Our major project is the analysis and design of an auditorium building by using auto CADD and stad pro.

Placement Experience

Like from 6 semester onwards, students became eligible for campus placements Companies visited like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. Packages will base on student performance. I'm a civil engineer to get a good job in a reputed company.

Fees and Financial Aid

Discussing the fees hike policy and cost to study is common in every college in this Veltech university also. Based on student performance scholarship will get and coming to stipend we get a stipend while doing our internships.

Campus Life

Our annual fest is LAVAZZA which is held in mostly March. Almost every type of book and journal is available. Every sport will encourage and they held some tournaments too like chess, cricket, kabaddi, etc.

Hostel Facilities

24 hours electricity daily cleaning service very comfortable rooms. Very good quality food. Simple and easy but a bit expensive based on room types like AC or Non Ac. Prince hostel c block Avadi near Veltech university.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

I got 75 percent of the scholarship for course fees based on inter-group perfection which I got above 95 percent in inter so I get that scholarship also having vacancies in civil engineering, helped me to choose this college

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
