My batch have a good peer group and I also like the campus where we can explore and try new things.
Blitzschlag is out college's cultural fest which is rajasthan's second biggest. My singers come to perform in pro nights.
Some of the faculties are very supportive course are based on NEP 2023.

Dislikes

Quality of mess food is not good. Even mess commity is not working to improve it. We have to eat outside most of the time.
Toilet cleaning is not proper. There are so much restrictions in hostels. We can't celebrate our birthday with our friends.Guard is very struct.

Course Curriculum Overview

I want to opt for chemical engineering . So I choose MNIT because it is famous for chemical engineering. The professors are very supportive, enough number of profeesors are there. They also teach very well and highly experienced. They all are Ph.D. holders from recognized colleges. There are two exams mid term and end term, if you are well focused in class you can easily manage them.

Internships Opportunities

I am a first year student so I don't know about many companies but amazon provides good internships for all branches. You can also get PPO after it which is of nice package. In core branches companies are also providing good internship opportunities you just need to upgrade your skills

Placement Experience

After 6th semester students become eligible for placement. Many companies and psu are also come to college , almost every student got placed if you have a nice cpga. Highest package offered was from cse branch of 60 lakh and from chemical it was 48 lakh this year and average for chemical branch was 8.8 lakh per annum. I will peruse for gate Exam as it provides government jobs and psu.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is very high as compared to other NITs because they are charging security money in very high amount. Other fees are also there. But some scholarship are also provided those whose family income is less than 1 lakh can waive 100% tuition fees and those between 1 to 5 lakh can waive 2/3 tuition fees. But your documents should be complete.

Campus Life

Blitzshlag is the rajasthan's second largest college fest, which is going to held in February. Library are also there thousands of books are also there you can avail them by showing your ID card. Sports complex and gym are also there. Many equipments are there , we have tennis ,football ,basketball and cricket ground. There are many clubs for dance, music , quiz, travel and many more things. You should just need to explore yourself

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are newly build. All facilities are there in hostel. You have to share your room in first year. The mess food is also good in some hostel, but in some hostel mess food quality is poor. Hygiene is also not maintained. Registration is very easy for hostel. You just need to choose hostel willingness in erp portal. I am also staying in vinodini hostel . Which is second largest hostel of mnit.

Hostel Fee: INR 640000 per year

Admission

It was the day of Saturday, when I reached in campus for my admission. The seniors are managing all the things. There is no rush , there is no any kind of failure . The Officers who are checking our documents are also very nice and kind. Refreshments are also provided. It was well organized.

Likes

the class timings are really flexible that is maximum 5 hours in a day
there are a lot of fun events in college every other day
the male to female ratio is approx 1:1 and both genders jam well with each other

Dislikes

the money factor i would say is one thing which doesnt add up if placements are considered
the freedom provided here might not be the best for everyone u need to have self control over yourself
people here can get too entitled and the pda inside might bother you but you will find your people

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirriculum is designed in a way such that most of the outdated and uselss things are removed this year and the labs of each subjects help you well enough to dive deeper into the application of the subject . some areas for improvement can be removing unnecessary subjects like manufacturing process for cse students . main exams are held every 3 months and the difficulty is moderate

Practical Tech Education with a Tight-Kint Community Feel

I like my hostel, accommodation is very nice
mess food is very tasty , scrumptious and homelike
the college is surrounded by greenery and breath taking nature!

Dislikes

The scorching desert heatwaves in the summer and chilling winter smog make walking across the vast, vehicle-free campus exhausting for a big chunk of the academic year.
Mandatory interdisciplinary projects and strict attendance policies leave little breathing room for students wanting to focus strictly on self-driven coding, competitive exams or independent side projects.
The campus is situated far off the highway in the industrial backdrop of Neemrana, there is virtually no social or city life right outside the gates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is industr-aligned with strong project-based learing and a mandatory final-year internship. Exams feature well-placed mid and end terms, though early theory subjects need more practical coding.

MY IMPRESSIONS ON THE UNIVERSITY OF FUTURE

Likes

The thing I liked the most is the nature around/in the campus.
The various options for sports and other outdoor activities.
The EAT system, which is better and healthier option for ACs.

Dislikes

A few meals on the mess menu are not that good.
Lack of normal-temperature water options.

Placement Experience:

NIIT UNIVERSITY placements rates are 100% and more important is that role fitment rate is also 100%. NIIT UNIVERSITY placements starts from 7th semister with Industry practice(IP). Many big companies come for the placements.

UNI OF FUTURE

Likes

Exposure via many known guests and personalities and experts of various fees that interact and share their opinion regarding many things with students.
Many clubs like shooting ,football,chess that are taken seriously here along with facilities for each of these sports
Opportunity to become volunteer for various fests organizing groups.

Dislikes

Water here is harsh in hostel, which causes a bit of hair fall.
Except for rooms and academic blocks heat during afternoon times is great if there are no clouds sometimes. Rest of times due to many trees its cool.
Strict gatepass system which ensures security of students but at same time troublesome for those who just wanna roam .

Placement Experience:

There are many exceptions here regarding placements and employbility. For interships students mainly start from their 3rd year but i know one student which is my senior that got an intership in their second year only since they had specific skills and colledge helped developing thier leadership quality and getting them the job

The campus placements is very good and the head of placement department Dr Abhishek meel sir provide training to students about interview and how to make cv and resume for good industrial approach. The average package is 5 lpa to 8 lpa from tge campus placements program

Journey in Few Words

Likes

The place is not only promoting studies they are also promoting the Talent by organising various events where they learn and develop other skills.
The Girls to Boy ration is good - 40:60.
The campus is also fine not very premium not very bad. If you're a good place in budget constraints you can opt for this.

Dislikes

They are little focused more towards money. for example when there is attendance less than 75% still if Student pay the fees they allow him to sit in exam.
Teachers can be more better. My experience with the staff is not very amazing. A lot of time i corrected some the teachers for certain topics

Placement Experience:

- Here the placements starts in the beginning of the 4 year. Campus placements are offered and it's not bad. Even we'll get some internship opportunities in 4 year before college ends - In my year the highest package is 14LPA in Mahindra

Girl over boy ratio is very less which also put impact on interaction with another gender
Teaching techniques of over faculty in my college the just scroll the pdf and tell about topics
Result delay is very common problem in my college

Placement Experience:

Form 5 th semester students become eligible for compus placement. Tcs , wipro ,infosys, jk cement, wonder cement these companies visited and they provide average package 4 to 5 lack per year. Through past record highest package is around 33 lack and average package 4 to 5 lack per year Minimum percentage for Good company is 7 cgpa . My plan after getting The degree is i go for masters in technology

The course is well structured and designed for students to learn the subject in detail and to know about topics in detail and make sure to understand things clearly before implementing them in real life. There are certain areas for improvement but they will keep get better. Timetable should be made such that students get break in between the classes so that they can be less exhausted throughout the day

An overview of MNIT

Likes

Being a Government national college, the diversity is very vast and it helps us understand about the different communities and cultures.
The college provides very educated professors who help you achieve your passion and enhance your vision. They provide information regarding the books you could refer which usually doesn’t happen in other colleges or universities.
The college assigns a group of 10 students to a particular mentor who guides you not only through technical vision but also in the mental health of the student.

Dislikes

Being a south indian, I wasn’t fluent in hindi. This made a hinderence to my study life. But the professors started explaining each class in english later on after my request
The less number of placements could be an issue
The end time for girls is 10pm which is according to me a decent timing. But I think they should atleast let the parcels come past the college main gate after 10. Because the boys can collect it from there but the girls cannot.

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements provided by the college. Students shall be adopting for placements in their final years. The visited companies are Apple, JP Morgan, Meesho, DE Shaw, Salesforce, Adobe, Airtel, Amazon, Bajaj motors and so on. Highest salary id 64LPA, average is 18.39LPA for the CSE branch. The overall percentage of students getting placed is 82% for both BTech and BArch with an average package of 13.2LPA. I shall be trying to get placed.

Environ of the college is very good and clear

Dislikes

College building which to old and second floor always leaking in rainy days.
Teachers of second year are not interested in teaching subjects.
Wifi of the college never works even it can't run WhatsApp

Placements are good in textile department because college is known for textile best college in Rajasthan that's why IT ,CSE ,ME,ECE are not getting that much pakage but recieves 4 lakhs average and if sumone not get job they can try of campus mostly try of campus.

I had not applied for any other college. But I had choosed some other colleges like NIT allahabad, NIT Delhi and NIT kurukshetra in my jee council. But I got this college. And I think I got the best among them all. Eligibility critera was minimum 70% marks in 12th exams. Also, around 95 percentile in jee mains(for general) and 90 percentile around for sc/st. I am not aware of obc. However, this criteria change every year depending upon competition. Cut off was not given on marks, it was all about percentile, marks were out of 360. I had applied for many universities but I am from Jaipur so finally I wanted MNIT Jaipur because it comes near me.
