Course Curriculum Overview
I got a 3142 obc rank in this rank the best option is IIT Indore civil so I choose this. The faculty of IIT is very supportive they provide tutors for solving problems. Here two-three teachers are studying from abroad and all teachers have high qualification status. Basically, this is iit so exams were not expected to be easy so exams are very tuff.
Internships Opportunities
I didn't do any internship right now but I know I am going to do good work in the future. In this IIT, if you want to crack intern in 3rs years you have to polish your coding skills. I have learned HTML, CSS, and c++. Some of the top recruiters including Goldman Sachs, Razor Pay, and Oracle participated in the internships for the students. Here the CSE branch is very good the placement ratio is good.
Placement Experience
From the 5th semester students are eligible for internships. Some of the top recruiters including Goldman Sachs, Razor Pay, and Oracle participated in the placement drive of 2022. As per the media reports, the highest package (domestic and international) offered was INR 56 LPA and INR 73.90 LPA, respectively during the IIT Indore placement in 2022. 100 percent placement for CSE students. 95 percent for electrical. Placement is very bad for civil, mems, and mechanical branches. I have to do a job in an IT company.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are from general or ob and your family income is less than 5 lakh for a year then you don't have to pay 2/3rd of tuition fees, if obc, SC, and st family income is less than 1 lakh for a year then you don't have to pay tuition fees. And obviously, sc and st have their own scholarships. and at the end of 3rd year, almost 50 percent of students get interns on campus.
Campus Life
Life on the campus is very luxurious. Here they provide hostels like a hotel and the campus is fully green. There are several clubs which you join according to your interest. The most popular fest of IIT Indore is Fluxus which is a cultural fest. This fest is very grand many colleges of Indore and all iits are invited in this. Sports facilities are not that much developed as others it's. Gymkhana, a techno club, and aaina all are these run by the students. The library of IIT Indore is very big and it is still being constructed. the classrooms are well-developed.
Hostel Facilities
Generally in a flat, there are 5 students. The present batch is allotted single occupancy rooms with 5 rooms in a flat. A typical flat has its own balcony, kitchen, 2 sets of bathrooms, and a hall. Each room consists of a bed, an almirah, a study table, a chair, a LAN port, etc. Every flat has sofa sets, a small refrigerator in the kitchen, and a discussion table provided in the hall. Food is very good as compared to other IITs, we get new variety every day. hostel fees are included in the whole fee so hostel registration is done at the time of admission. I live in the hostel of IIT Indore because it is the best thing here.
Admission
My name is shiv, Patel. I cleared jee advanced in 2022 and got crl 13432 and obc rank 3142, So at the first round of josaa counseling, I got IIT Indore civil. Basically, I got admission because of obc. But at last, this is it and I am very happy with it.
