Internship developments in diploma colleges

This is 3 years of diplomatic course, where students can take admission in their willing engineering trades such as Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science and technology, metallurgical engineering, etc. There is a total of six semesters in this curriculum.

Some well-known companies affiliated with the state council such as Parent, web el visit Kanyapur Polytechnic to develop internship facilities for students. But there is a stipend for students. The Students get a chance to learn auto cad, electronic cad, python system, and c++ language through the internship program.

In most of the diploma colleges students in the 6th semester are eligible for campus placement. In Kanpur Polytechnic campus placement of the Mechanical department is quite better than in other departments. There is an average salary of 12000 rupees per month in campus placements. Some of the Students from the Electrical department can also get a chance to take placements. There are some famous companies such as Jindal, Thermal India, India Power, and Sakambari Group that visits Kanyapur Polytechnic for placement purpose. The highest package from the electrical engineering department is around 24000 rupees offered by West Bengal State Electricity Board in the year 2019. There 40 percent of students get placement jobs every year. I want to take admitted for further studies after this degree.

In the case of government diploma colleges, the fees are comparatively very low compared to self-finance diploma colleges. There is a fess of approximately 1000 rupees required as fees in a government diploma college and in another hand a fees amount of 25000 rupees approximately required in a self-finance diploma college. Eligible students can apply for government scholarships such as SVMC, OIACIS, etc. and they can also apply for private scheme scholarships also under the guidance and policy rules of their colleges. There are variations of placements according to the colleges of the students. On average case, the campus jobs are quite good. In Kanyapur Polytechnic there is an average package of 12000 per month for campus jobs.

There are some annual fests and functions held by the college members in mid-time of the year. The library opportunities are quite good. There are different types of books in the library. Financially weak Students along with all types of regular students can issue their subject books under some terms and conditions of the college library. The classrooms are also neat and clean, and proper electricity facilities are available in the classrooms, students are quite comfortable in those classrooms. There are some annual sports and fitness curriculum activities in most diploma colleges. There is no social group in Kanyapur Polytechnic, but students will be gathered and they make groups for any issue or problems as per requirement and as per the situation the college authority also supports them. The point to be noted is that there is a community for the students union of the hostel members.

Students who want to take admitted to diploma engineering have to crack the JEXPO examination and after they can get a chance to take admitted to this course. The students have to pass out their 10th standard with a minimum 75% grade as it is compulsory eligibility to take admission in this course.
