Journey of LD College

For admission, we need to clear the GUJCET entrance exam which is conducted by the Admission committee of professional courses. After we need to apply for admission on the acpc website. We got seat allotment as per our rank. There are different cutoffs for different courses.

I choose electrical engineering. Working with electrical equipment is my passion. There are 30-35 facilities per department in my college. The main branches like electrical, civil, and mechanical have more seat allotment than other branches. The main branches have around 180 students and other branches have around 150 students. All facilities are well qualified. Term exams are difficult to pass. We need to prepare for the exam to score good credits.

In the seventh semester, we need to do a 15-day internship as per our university guidelines. Some companies are directly contacting our College. As per our goal, we can go to various companies and do internships. Some companies also provided a stipend for the intern. In the eighth semester, we completed 3-month internship.

Seventh-semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies coming for the placement. Like adani, reliance industries, tata motors, mg motors, Accenture, L&T, Byjus, Ambuja cement, Shapoorji Balaji, etc. The average package is around 5-6 LPA. Every year almost 60 percent of students are placed in placement cells. I am preparing for the government exam.

LD college is a government college. So college fees are very less. College fees are 2300rs per year. Exam fees are 850rs per semester. There are many schemes of scholarships in which we can apply and avail ourselves of the benefits of it. Some schemes like digital Gujarat scholarship, MYSY, national scholar scheme, CMSS, etc.

The infrastructure of the college is old. There are many clubs in my college. Some of these clubs are Robocon, lakshya, prakalpa, etc. Those clubs organized their fest and regular interval in college. The library has a wide range of Books. There is a big cricket ground in the college.
