The Admission process is relatively smooth and adequately streamlined. It is entirely faculty-driven. It consists of two steps, profile shortlisting(based on the CAT Score) and a Personal Interview. Eligibility Criteria;- 1) A CAT score of a minimum 75 percentile for the first round of selection, the required percentile drops down owing to seat availability. 2) A minimum of 50% is to be maintained in 10th, 12th, and Graduation. The Admission process should be more student-driven to make it more interactive.

The prospect that a PGDM degree brings in one career and that too from a reputed brand like MDI has always inspired me to pursue this course. I emphatically believe this will boost my career and provide me with diverse knowledge owing to the robust curriculum and updated pedagogy. The dual specialization that MDIM Offers has also been a major motivation for opting for this course. Our batch of 189 students is divided into 3 sections of 63 students each. Each section is catered to by 8 faculty members teaching 8 different subjects. Each faculty member is Highly qualified, holding doctorate degrees in their respective area of specialization. The teaching method is very much practical-oriented, it involves a lot of student-based activities and provides a great opportunity for peer learning. We have 48 exams in 3 months. 2 Terminal exams (Mid and End term) for 8 subjects, 4 quizzes for each subject, 8 presentations, and 32 assignments (4 each). Hard to medium (Diff level)

Currently, I will be going through my summer internship process. The roles offered are majorly in the marketing and sales domain by reputed companies like Gartner and ABC. ICICI, Shriram General Insurance, Digit (HR Roles offered too), etc. Details are given more specifically on the college website. I am yet to experience Summer Internship Projects.

The students become eligible for placements after completion of their Summer Internships. To be more precise after completion of their 4th Trimester. Prominent recruiters like Aditya Birla Capital, Gartner, Darashaw, Tiger Analytics, Cognizant, PWC, EY, and ICICI Bank Have been our prominent recruiters over the years. More than 180 offers have been made for 165 students for the batch of 2021-23. For more detailed information please visit the official website. The highest package offered this year is 18.75 LPA and the median is around 11.48 LPA. 100% of Students are getting placements every year. After graduating I would love to work in the marketing domain.

The fee structure in terms of ROI is best amongst the Tier-II colleges if compared. There is a minimum fee hike owing to certain criteria which are solely decided by MDI Board members. A tuition fee waiver scheme is introduced from the batch 2022-24 and is given to selected students based on CAT score and other parameters such as Family Income only after verification of prescribed documents. Scholarships offered by various State Govts are also applicable. Reputed Companies like Gartner, ABC, ICICI, and TATA AIG have been our prominent recruiters in terms of Summer Internships.

As the college is located in a remote area, life outside campus is not at all preferable. Within campus life is good but hardly we get time owing to the stringent schedule of classes. MDIM Library has a robust collection of books and journals along with Bloomberg Terminals. The library is completely automated along with a computer LAB which is accessible 24*7 by the students. Classrooms are fully Air-conditioned, and spacious and have best-in-class facilities along with projectors and other amenities. The sports committee of MDIM is very active and yearly various sports competitions are organized. We have a Football, Cricket Ground, A Volley Ball Court, Basketball court, and Badminton Court and each floor of the hostel has an Indoor Table tennis Room. MDIM Consists of 12 Clubs and Committees (Check the official website for more details). Each club or committee is 100% student-driven.

The rooms are extremely good and spacious. There are two types of accommodation, single and double. Double occupancy is the more premium one with an attached washroom and is almost like a 1 BHK premium flat (although you don't have to pay a single penny extra). The menu is changed every month after a common poll conducted by the students. The quality of the food is very standard. There is no such different registration process for hostels, every student is allocated a hostel at the time of admission.

There was no GD Conducted. We had been called for direct personal interviews by the Faculty Members. Interview questions are completely based on the candidate's profile and his or her educational background. Work Ex candidates generally face questions regarding their most recent employment. The process as described earlier is very systematic. A candidate is being shortlisted based on the CAT percentile, A minimum of 75 percentile is preferable. After getting shortlisted the date and timing of the PI is being communicated through the registered e-mail ID. A candidate must maintain a minimum of 50% in his 10th, 12th, and graduation. I generally gave importance to my core subject Economics and prepared accordingly. I faced questions from Econometrics and Labour Economics.
