Remarks

I got admission to the OBC reservation. The admission process is good. I went for B.Com admission but because of my low mark, I got BA in Economics. I used to fillout the form while taking admission. The admissionn fee is low.

The college exam at Calicut university was very easy and it was possible to score a good mark. Economics was a three-year course with exams in 6 semesters. There were also model exams before the exam. Overall good.

Class Size: 500Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Since this is a government college only the admission fee was charged and there were no other extra fees. As this is an arts college there was no placement here. I have no scholarship. Exams fee was paid before all exams.

The annual day was held every year and sports were held every year. And also conduct department day. NSS is very active in this college. Every year NSS conducts 7-day camps and a lot of one-day camps. The big book of collection in the library.

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

My experience at maharajas college ernakulam

Course Curriculum Overview:

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.

The college provides many placement opportunities. The campus placements happens during the sixth semester of the course. The college conducted many placement drives. EVERY COLLEGE HAS SOME POSITIVE AND SOME NEGATIVE POINTS. POSITIVE POINTS INCLUDES CARRIER OF STUDENT AS THIS IS A TECHNICAL INSTITUTES IT IS BETTER THAN GENERAL DEGREE COLLEGE WHICH ONLY DISTRIBUTES CERTIFICATES. PRESENT TIME IS OF TECHNOLOGY SO TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE IS VERY NECESSARY. THIS INSTITUTES PROVIDES JOB AFTER COMPLETATION OF COURSE. IT PROVIDES HOSTEL FACILITY FOR STUDENT WHOSE HOME IS BEYOND 60KM. HOSTEL FACILITU IS VERY GOOD. THREE TIMES MEALS ARE PROVIDED ON NORMAL RATES THAT IS ?56 PER DAY.
