A small review about AUCEW

I joined through EAMCET. A good rank in EAMCET can get you into this college. If you have reservations then your rank doesn't matter much. Earlier AUCET students are also eligible to join AUCEW. Eamcet dates are announced by the government and counseling dates are given after evaluation and release of the ranks. Application fees differ based on their economical background and caste.AUCEW campus is near the business school and arts college. People from the general category (O.C.) who are eligible for ews have a 10 percent reservation. The campus is ragging free and if you are from branches like mechanical engineering, or civil engineering, then you have to go to a coed campus for some labs.AUCEW is a campus with strict rules. Students are not allowed to wear a dress without a dupatta. There is no uniform but students are strictly prohibited from wearing short tops and jeans. Examinations are conducted within the campus.

I choose this college because I didn't get a good rank to get into the Co-ed campus. Moreover getting a certificate from Andhra University is precious. The faculty ratio is not so good. Some of the lecturers are the best at teaching especially mechanical and civil. Due to the COVID pandemic and changes in the syllabus, semester exams are sometimes within 3-4 months. Passing the exams is not easy as other universities due to several reasons:1) consecutive exams and 2)no exact pattern of questions. But if the student study hard then she can pass and get a 7-8 points in core subjects.

Campus placement offers are the same as a co-ed campus.AUCEW had 100% placement in the 2021 year. But the salaries are not high. packages start from 3.6 and reached 7lpa. Students can enroll for the GATE exam to get a government job or to join a college for M.Tech.

A student should pay 63,000+ per year. All the JVD scholarship holders are free from this fee. The JVD amount will be credited into the student's mother's accounts in 4 terms. The students need to pay them either online or through dd. All the SC and ST students can get their scholarships from the central government.

AU clubs and Edumoon clubs are active clubs for all the students. Assure AU is the best app specially made for AU students. As the syllabus and syllabus changes frequently it contains all the syllabus and study materials along with question papers. Edmonton is run by AU alumni and is extremely supportive.
