I appeared for AIEEE and scored around 45000rank in that i was looking out for a good engineering college in MDU and then i got to know about Dronacharya College which is very well known for its discipline, also few of my friends referred me that it is one of the best college after ITM if you are planning to pursue B.Tech through MDU.

Curriculum was as per MDU standards I will definetely say the MDU curriculum is very old, it should be updated or revised as its totally out dated coming to faculty in the 1st, 2nd year the faculty were kind of okay but yes 3rd and 4th year faculty were really awesome faculty were really helpful and they believed in more of practical education rather than cramming books.

Our college partnered with many companies like IBM, Microsoft so we have lots of certified programs which one can opt under internship however at my time our college partnered with darsh services, gurgaon and i opted for Java certified training experience was quite good, trainer was very good later i appeared for SCJP certification exam and i cracked that with 95%, so indeed im a SCJP professional now. Ohh i forgot to mention under internship there was no stipend kind of program.

Well this is the million dollar question upon which every college reputation depends upon well i will say more than 10 companies appeared on campus at my time for placement if i talk about current scenario as i'll say that yes placement cell has improved alot and the no of placements are increasing substantially year after year approx 60% students gets placed within campus.

I was the one who founded various societies so we have plenty of events every year like Dron tech where various company chairman or CEO s join us we have microsoft cell, IBM center of excellence, google groups which conducts lots of technical events around the year college conducts massive farewell, fresher parties, sports day programmes also.

Fee structure is increasing year after year It's for sure bit expensive specially if you are opting in for CSE stream, in ECE, Mechanical its comparatively cheaper but then you dont have same kind of placement under those streams and even if you have placement you wont get that kind of packages as in CSE and IT.

College offer very low scholarship schemes as per of my knowledge there is no sound scholarship programme.

I did not took hostel, instead i used to board college bus for first year and then cab with my other colleagues we have enough of students coming from delhi that you can easily hire a cab on monthly basis cab was also much cheaper than college bus service

Seniors where very helpful and interactive helped alot to their juniors and guided them how to crack the semester exams i remember we borrowed lots of reference book from them also taken there help in understanding many difficult concepts under our syllabus.

We have 2 unit tests and then university exams for every semester many times the questions gets repeat from past 5-10years papers lab tests are not that difficult provided you have attended all the lab classes.
