Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculty members and teachers are very polite and teach very well compared to other colleges in this area. So, I think it is one of the best colleges for learning Engineering in western Maharashtra.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 92000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Nearly 200 companies visit college per year, this college is best for college students. About six lakh package is available. About 90 students are placed on campus. The college promotes students to take internships also.

Fees and Financial Aid

For Open candidates, Fees are nearly 92000, For others there is a scholarship from the Maharashtra government, Obc 50%, Nt 100%, Tfws 100%, St/Sc 100%+80% in development fees. All scholarship details are available for tuition fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good for students. There is a huge library for students. There are so many extracurricular activities for students available. Different clubs are also available for different branches.

Hostel Facilities

There is a hostel attached to the college. Mess is also available for hostel students. A separate study room is available for each room student. Different floors for different year students. Separate hostel for girls and boys.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. An underrated college in kolhapur

I chose this college because the fees is very affordable and the return on investment is good. Placements are also fine and they are improving every year.
