Admission process : Karim city college, jamshedpur is affiliated by kolhan university situated in jamshedpur . Those students who wants to take admission here have to clear 12th and then they have to apply online from the website of kolhan university called chancellor portal. There they'll get the option of college, where they have to apply and complete the registration.After that college will publish their merit lists or selected students list as per their requirements and after that college will publish another list with the namea of students mentioning their timing to come college and complete the admission process paying the fees. Reservation is available for SC, ST and OBC category students.

I want to engineering in my future, so I choose physics as graduation. There is a huge numbers of students here. The number of physics students is more here than other streams.we get offline method of teaching here, where the teachers are highly qualified and well trained. Here is total of 6semester here. Each semester has each exam.

As I mentioned that the admission fee of this college in physics honours programme is approx 8000 here for OBC category students , I know this because I belong to OBC category. Here we got the scholarship scheme from the government of our state called kalyan. Where we can apply once per year.

Campus Life

An annual fest like a reunion ceremony, cultural program, and many types of competitions are organized here with great pumps and shows. Our college has a library where we get all types of books related to our studies. Sports teams like football and cricket are available in our college. social group like the nasty, retract club of Jamshedpur is run by our students in college.

Like everyone knows in which carriculum they are interested ,similarly i know i have a keen interest in my subject i.e. physics . We can't see physics as a theoretical and mathematical aspect but in our daily Life we use to experienc it . Like if something is fell down there is a reason behind that is gravity .we use to experience physics in our daily life . Some teacher use to make us feel for that subject but someone make us bore sometime. It happens rarely but sometime it happens. So i suggest them to change some activity Like teach with more energyso tha we can't get bored. Sometime we get very lengthy paper in the exams so everyone have to prepare before the examination with high speed.

A Transformative Journey : My College Experience

Placement Experience:

The campus placement in our college is held after the completion of all 6 semesters and there is very limited number of companies that come over to offer placement but off campus placements starts from 6 semester onwards. The companies visited were Vedanta for graduate trainee offering 1.40 - 4.65 LPA Tata Power for graduate trainee offering 1.90 - 3.69 LPA Only 40% students got placements. Many students didn't take part as the packages very low & even the perks were not so good. I planned to do higher studies in M.Sc. As the subject was very intriguing I preferred pursuing more knowledge.

Actually I applied only for this college because it is nearer from my home and actually this college is quite famous in my hometown and i didn't apply in another college because this is kolhan university and the education is good in this college. Karim City College. An Affordable Option for Mass Comm Aspirants

The most important factor was the affordability compared to other colleges including within-state colleges as well as Inter-State colleges. Also, the Faculty was very inclusive as I took last-minute admissions and they were happy to take me in. The admission process was fairly easy they took the mandatory marksheets of Std 10th and 12th also the Aadhar Card and Parental Details and the fees were paid in Cash. Later after the payments I was provided with the prospectus and Other Information.
