Remarks

My conclusion about overall college experience is very positive.

Entrance Preview

I had written CET In the year 2011 and scored 158/180 in PCB subject and secured 387th rank in CET and I chooses this college in counselling because this was best recommended college for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The profession of Doctor is very respected in this society and the syllabus is also not too tough if we understand it. There will be tuition for MBBS so u should learn through in college and practice daily and revise the topics make short notes. This will definitely help u in your exam preparation

Internships Opportunities

Yea it provides internship for one year after five year course and you will be awarded a minimum stipend of nearly 20000 rs per month.

Placement Experience

4.5

If you consider placements & job opportunities for completing MBBS you will be getting more job opportunity out side your campus in private hospitals and government hospitals you will be nearly getting 100000 rs salary.so there will be no campus interviews.

College Events

4.5

Our college is well known in Hubli for its reputation and we also held some wonderful events which was really appreciated by our college dean and press . The another thing about this event was it most successful event in our college history. We enjoyed a lot in this event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I had got seat in this college by government quota though the fees was about only 25000 rs per year which was very low when compared with private medical colleges..so the fees was very feasible and inexpensive and it was not burden for my family..so even a medium class family student can also can get admission in this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

As the fees was very low u would think that there would be no scholarship but the Government of Karnataka gave me scholarship under obc category .

Campus Life

5

As this was a medical college usually the strength of women is more than men and one thing is that I enjoyed a lot in my campus life but many of them did not enjoyed they only spent time in reading the books but I understood it. About extracurricular activities there were no much things like that but we enjoyed our college.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is a place where food and lodging are provided for students or certain groups of workers or tourists. Life in a hostel is different from the life in a home.Generally a student stays in a hostel when his residence is located far from his educational institution. Life in a hostel makes a student self-dependent. It makes him smart, active and disciplined.

Alumni/Alumna

Yea we have our Alumni association with the college and till now we all meet every year and not missed a single year.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted year wise. the semester wise system is not there but the labs exams are conducted every 3 months so that the practicals should be perfect . So the students should be perfect in all autonomy subjects . You should pass out in all exams with minimum 50% aggregate.

Admission

The admission was through CET exam in which the seats were allotted on basis of merit. They give certain time after the announcement of CET results and they call for counselling in which they verify our documents. Then seat matrix is published and you have to put your option entry in KEA website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.

It's a very good curriculum as we have both book knowledge and practical knowledge at same time as we have to go hospital in morning to see cases qnd at evening to learn about it. There is no such improvement is required. We don't have to give soo much exam but the syllabus we have to cover its not much

Same curriculum as the NMC is followed . In the beginning ears there wont be much exposure clinically like any other hospitals later on in 3rd amd 4th year there is more clinical exposure and patient interaction. According to me the exam level of 1st year is a bit tough as it is a changing phase from 12th to college and everything is new later on we get adjusted and find it easy and will understand how to phase the exam and how it is different from the previous exams of 11th or 12th . Only one exam will be for a academic year which includes the whole syllabus of that year
