Remarks

I get admission by clearing jee mains. The application form will be applicable in NTA website, the form price is 650 and generally, it is Available in the month of January. By getting a reservation it will be easier to Get the seat. There is a home state quota also. No improvement is required.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because i want to be an Engineer. Faculty : student ratio is 10:1 All professor is highly qualified and has done PhD at IIT and their teaching method is also very appreciable. there is a semester exam held every six months and it is somehow difficult to pass.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like l and t Microsoft Amazon Flipkart offered internships and a good role is given with almost a decent stipend. Recently axella provide an internship with a stipend of 45000. several projects are also assigned for more clarification of the topic.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, students start getting placement. Companies like amazon Flipkart Microsoft axella l and t Atlassian exxon mobile Samsung grow etc The highest placement is 80 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA and almost 95% of students get placed. I have to prepare for the civil service exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure depends on whether the Income lies is below 1 lakh or between 1 lakh to 5 lacks per annum or above 5 lakhs per annum. If your family income is less than 1 lakh per annum then you get 100% tuition Fee waiver and above 5 lakhs then no benefit will be given. By getting admission to the college you can easily get a loan from a bank.

Campus Life

Here culfest is take place every year and ojass is the technical fest which takes place There is plenty number of books available in the library. Almost every sports facility is available and there are various clubs for the enhancement of student personality.

Hostel Facilities

Double bed in single rooms provided in the first year And then single room is provided from 2nd year. Mess quality is decent here for btech hostel is provided for the student and for phd there are various lodge available.

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
