Remarks

One is eligible for this course after getting the required rank in JEE Advanced. The admission process is smooth and reservation is granted according to government norms. The laboratories, classrooms and campus life provide brilliant experiences to growing minds.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are some department-specific compulsory courses which one has to complete anyhow. The faculty-student ratio is nice. The faculty here has great knowledge and also is very supportive towards the students. The teaching methods of some professors specifically are really good, and easy to understand. There are two mid-term exams and a final examination (40% weightage). Continuous evaluation careers have 60% weightage thus a little effort can lead to good grades.

Placement Experience

100% placement was recorded in CSE and Bio. The highest CTC was 61 lakh which has now increased in the year 2022. (Waiting for the exact figure). Pre-placements happen in 4th year. There are on-campus internships and placements as well. Companies such as Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Uber, Paytm, etc make way to hire students here.

Fees and Financial Aid

Keeping in mind that it is a government college, the overall fees seem high to me but all the requirements are fulfilled here. The scholarship is provided to reserved categories to help them financially. Big companies such as Microsoft come to the campus and hire students.

Campus Life

The campus life is fabulous. There are so many fests including 'annual fest- ignus', 'tech fest- prometeo', ''sports fest- varchas' and a lot more. The sports complex and specified grounds offer one to explore a variety of indoor and outdoor sports. Labs are well maintained and have all the necessary machines (many of them are really expensive). Classrooms are spacious and have blackboard as well as a projector. All the buildings are air-conditioned. Literature society, Dance society, Programming Society, Robotics Society and whatnot? There are a large number of clubs and societies covering every area of interest. One can make the grip here as the crowd is less when compared to other IITs.

Hostel Facilities

Students get single occupancy, air-conditioned rooms. Cleanliness is well maintained by the management. Walls are made up of good quality stone which keeps the room at normal temperature even in adverse weather. There are two common mess for everyone on campus. Both of them have 3 floors each (ground, 1st and 2nd). The food served is nice. Mess and Hostel together cost rs 19,000 per semester.

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The course curriculum is vast and allows a student to explore all the possible options to take before deciding on one . The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . The classes of every subject does occur frequently and and exams take place every month in a form of quiz or proper pen based exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Totally satisfied with the teaching quality, placements and the infrastructure of this college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Several high-profile companies ranging from IT, consulting, analytics, electronics, mechanical, civil, and pharma come to the campus for placements. Approx 95% of students get placed with an average CTC approx 9LPA and the highest being 35LPA. I plan on working in the company I got placed in and think about my future plans later.

IIT Jodhpur College Review

For admission to IIT Jodhpur, I gave the JEE Advanced examination. During that time, I filled for various branches in many IITs like Chemical Engineering at IIT Guwahati, Mechanical Engineering at IIT BHU, ECE at ISM Dhanbad, and so on. But in the end, I finalized for Electrical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur because I preferred the branch over IIT. Also, many of my relatives told me that Electrical in IIT Jodhpur is quite good.
