Remarks

The admission process is very smooth. I got admission through the CAP round. It is easy just to visit the college after college allotment and give some documents and you're all done with the process. Reservation students do need not to pay the fees. The scholarship is there. Just fill out the scholarship form.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty is good. Internal Exams are strict and experienced faculty is there to help whenever needed you can reach out. Always anytime faculty is available. Teaching methods are great you'll get everything if you attend regular classes.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Placement Experience

If no placements are there you can always try for off-campus placements or else you can go with studying master's. So better prepare for my master's. And get a high-paying job after that. The placement is quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the maha dbt portal, you'll get an option to apply for the scholarship. After that you can also get extra student benefits from the scholarship and fees are also given by the government to the college. And fees are quite manageable.

Campus Life

Social life is good you'll be getting many events to participate in and the availability of resources in the college is quite good. Libraries are not so equipped but you'll get all the course-related books there.

Interview Experience

No rounds were taken. I got admission through cap rounds only. The admission process is simple just appear for college allotment and you'll be getting admission. Spot admission is also one of the ways to get admission.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
