Internship

Admission process was quite easy. Everything was done online via lpu's website. All the paperwork fees and everything was done online only. I had to give lpu-nest examination whose fees cost me 500 rs and it was also online but proctored. For first category scholarship cutoff is 65+ marks to get 49% scholarship. No i don't think there is any need to improve in admission process since everything was so easy.

I chose this cource because I want to become entrepreneur in future. Faculty members are well educated. Although there are some teachers who feel difficulty in communicating in English. But replacements of teachers are easily available. Talking about curriculum, it is well planned and includes everything related to the course and is heavily based on practicals. Exams are usually not so tough and u can clear them by studying on the night before examination.

Highest internship stipend per month is 65000. Companies that provide internship are Wipro, Infotech, Intel and so many . Projects that we get are mostly about making website and based on the course we are studying at that time . There are more than 500 projects that students are working on.

You are eligible for campus placement in 3rd year .There are many companies visiting lpu like TCS , cognizent, Infosys, Intel, club Mahindra, Wipro , ICIC banks. Lpu claims that it's 100 percent placement. I will also go for placement after this degree.

Fees of course is 80000. After getting first category scholarship, it is 41600. Scholarship can be availed by either 12th marks or by giving lpu-nest examination. Lpu also provides multiple internship as well as many part time jobs for the students.

There is no particular month of fest or if it's there i don't know but there are so many fest and you will get so many opportunities to participate in the fest. Most of the books are available in library and you can also find whether books are available in Library or not in lpu touch app. Sports and extra curricular activities are available in campus and you will be encouraged to take part in it .There is student welfare division in campus where you can find every club and you can join any club. And there is a app which students made its called humans of lpu live .this app has everything you need to know like how much marks you need to pass and how much attendance will be deducted if you don't attend .

Hostel is quite good and there is availability of necessary stuffs inside the hostel area like grocery, canteen, atm, park, playground, study room,open air gym and cleaning facilities are also available.hostel food is not that bad as the price is very less . Registeration of hostel is simple as you will have to do it after the application process only .there are so many options of hostel rooms like dormitory, standard rooms ( 2 seater, 3 seater , so on ) and apartment and price varies by the room you book and you will have two option cooler or AC. Pg is also nearby and you will have so many options of pg as well . You can reside in lawgate( nearest pg) , Phagwara or jalandar. But i will suggest you to live in hostel for a year and know whether you can Manage to live outside or not .
