Entrance Preview

I think the entrance to the college is quite easy and I got into the college through an application form and the required documents were asked for. The rest was taken care by the college and I was called for admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and syllabus of my Btech course was super easy and I had the most fun time studying at the college. There was no additional burden thought here were some regular project and assignment submissions.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is quite good and I found many opportunities for growing myself as a student and appearing for interviews where I learnt a lot.

College Events

I remember the events that were organized in the college as they were the most memorable part of my college life. There were sports as well as cultural tournaments in the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I was a Bachelor in technology student at the GITAM University I had majored in the Electrical Engineering. The fee was okay and not too much for a normal student. It was 220,000 per year.

Campus Life

I miss the time being at the college campus. It was a really huge campus and there was greenery everywhere. The facilities were provided within the campus such as cafeteria, wifi, labs etc.

The faculty were very motivating and helped in almost everything. The students got all their questions answered by the senior faculty members who also tool guest lectures at times.

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. SRM in Chennai has this. but I chose gitam because of its culture which if far better than SRM. there's no regional barrier since I'm from the same city as my college. teachers and all are helpful here compared to faculty there . the admission process is simple , you have to write for entry called GAT which provides scholarship based on score . and it's easy to crack it ....Read More

Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
