Sreenidhi, always hopes for the best

I took TS EAMCET for admission into Sreenidhi. The process was very easy and I was fully satisfied with the way my admission went. To get into the Information technology branch, you have to get a rank in the range of 20,000 in EAMCET. You can get information on how to apply on the official website of EAMCET. And you can go through counseling to get into various colleges.

I chose Information technology because it's a course in which you can have a good career. Coming to the student-faculty ratio, we have enough professors and assistant professors to manage the students. For example, if a professor is absent then another faculty member takes his period. In my opinion, the faculty just teaches the curriculum but you have to be the one to learn the important topics and theories. Every lecturer has their teaching methods and every lecturer strives to make the student better. The exams are conducted in 1 month with the internal exams and labs and finally the external exam.

Internships are offered at the beginning of the 2nd semester of 2nd year. Many companies visit and do industrial training for the students. There are many companies like Wipro, Cognizant, and Accenture which recruit many students with a stable stipend.

Sreenidhi is well known for its high packages. But the average package is about 5 lakhs per annum. You have a high scope for a good package in the computer science departments. The students get to participate in campus placement for 3rd year. There will also be recruitment training. Many companies like Accenture, Microsoft, Mahindra tech, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Google, Amazon, Zenpact, etc., visited our college. The highest package 32 lakhs per annum was offered by Amazon. Approximately 80 percent of students get good placements in Sreenidhi. My plan after getting the degree is to do either M.S. abroad or M.Tech in IITs.

The fee for Sreenidhi is 138000 which is very high. But you can get a scholarship and financial assistance. You can opt for a government schemed reimbursement for the high fee. The approximate fee to get through 4 years of B.Tech is 500000. But you can get a reimbursement every year to your bank account. You can also get an education loan from your bank for financial aid.

I think Sreenidhi is a great college. Because compared to other colleges, we have many clubs and fests. I am not exaggerating but the students and college conduct the fest in every month. Fests like Sreevision, Dandiya night, Roboveda, Adastra, and Rigolade are some of the fests held in Sreenidhi which are very enjoyable. There is also a wide range of books available in our library. You can get almost get any book you want. Sports are also a major extracurricular activity in Sreenidhi. Various sports like Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, throwball, and Kabaddi competitions are held between colleges. Sreenidhi has a variety of clubs in different fields. Some of them are the Robotics club, Arts club, Techvision, Innovation and Creativity Club, Sreenidhi Photography Club, and Electronix club. These clubs give you exposure in college so I highly recommend joining these clubs.

Coming to hostel facilities, you can stay in either the sreenidhi hostel or other private hostels which are nearer to the college. Sreenidhi hostel is at Ghatkesar whereas other private hostels are very near to the college. In my opinion, hostel food is not good anywhere, so I suggest you search for good hostels by visiting them. For a three-sharing room, the rent would be typically, Rs 5500 to Rs 6000 per month which can vary on the number of persons in the room. In my case, I am currently living at a PG in Singapore township in Annojiguda. This PG is better than the one I used to stay in. Hence I recommend Singapore township.
