Remarks

Basically, at the time COVID admission process was online through jee advanced rank. But now the admission process is offline. You can find all details on the IIT Goa website, for taking admission to this college you need to qualify for jee advanced exam. Then you can take admission only.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen mechanical engineering for the BTech course, this IIT is provided four courses for BTech. All courses are best in this college you can take any branch here as per your choice Here all faculty are good and the teaching is very nice there is no problem for study. So you can take admission here without hesitation.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 220000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

About fees, in this college no more fees, if students whose parent's income is less than 1 lakh will get a full refund on tuition fees and those students whose parent's income is between 1 lakh and 5 lakh will get a 2/3 refund fee. This was for OBC and EWS students. And for St and sc students already less no tuition fee is required to pay.

Campus Life

About life on the campus, I will tell you, for this college, there is no permanent campus and this is located on the GEC campus but the life campus is very good in goa. So no need to take worry regarding this you can enjoy goa. I am also enjoying myself here.

Placements are good like averages of chemical is 12 lpa and there is good placement percentage ratio like 75 percent and if in case of no placements further study is possible option as bits have connection to many best institues in the world.

BITS Pilani, Goa Campus- A road to an interesting life.

Placement Experience:

Students can start sitting in placements from the start of 4th year , when the Placement Division starts bringing companies to the campus. The average package for CS is around 20-26 LPA, for Electrical branches it's around 18-24 LPA and for Mechanical and Chemical it is around 13-16 LPA. These figures would've changed though from the last time I saw. Around 85-90% of the students get placed usually. Top notch companies like Google, Microsoft , DE Shaw, Arcesium Cohesity Rubrick recruit students every year for the tech roles and other prominent companies like Flipkart, Sprinkle, Intuiut and Coin Switch come for managerial roles as well. There is even a chance of getting a PPO through Summer Internship Program which kikstarts in the 3rd year where students compete to get internship in these top companies. Overall , BITS Goa has impeccable placement statistics

BITS Pilani unfiltered: A deep dive into the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to college placements from 7th semester More than 300 companies visit every year which include MNCs, startups, spread over all major domains like IT, Electronics, consulting, finance, core, product management etc The highest package varies every year but the average stands at around 18-20lpa. more than 90% of the students get placed every year. i plan to build my career in ET industry after my degree.

Bits Goa good or not

Placement Experience:

There is a dept for placements. 70 to 80 percent people get placed woth average package of 20 lakhs per annum. Mostly ot depends on interviews and how good internship you get in 3rd year. Cg plays a very imp role too.

Placement Experience:

I have no clue but the highest placements are in Computer and IT branches. Civil has probably the least placement. The quality is good thanks to IIT and NIT being in the same campus thus the big companies that come to those colleges also come to our colleges but they prefer those students more because NIT and IIT are more prestigious colleges.

Trusted experience of Iit goa

Many students has the doubt of selecting best branch or college, I would say going for the branch yeah it's true that high collages have high placements but it's doesn't guarantee uhhh to get a job uhh must have the best knowledge so gain the best knowledge is best course instead of low branch and then doing other courses. Completing engineering from IIT is like a dream come true for every engineering student. IITs not only provide good placement but learning and the exposure and opportunities that we get is unimaginable. I also wanted to be part of IIT and I really worked hard for the GATE exam but frankly speaking, I am an average student and my GATE score was between 755 to 860 according to me ad my preference is IIT Goa was the best option. To be part of IIT Goa I need to clear the GATE exam that I did and I should have a minimum of 55% marks. My academic qualification was according to IIT Goa.
