Admission Process: The students are enrolled in this course based on their marks in the 12th class. Students only have to apply to the university and he/she will be enrolled easily (If they are a good match) University rolls out admission forms on the website jcboseust.ac.in. You have to update the notices on the website. A student belonging to the lower class (sc/bc/obc) can avail of reservation benefits after admission.

The course curriculum is really outdated. The course syllabus is outdated. Teachers are bound to teach the outdated syllabus. There are mostly theoretical classes. Students will be required to write code on paper or on whiteboard in classes. Our last two semesters were of only 4 months instead of 6.

The course of BCA is similar to that of B.Tech (CS/IT) (i.e around 80,000 per annum). Students can avail of reservation benefits and can study almost free of cost. There are a lot of scholarship schemes for sc/bc/obc's but fewer schemes for General Category students.

The campus is not very big. There is a playground with a basketball court. Students play football, cricket, archery on this ground. There is also a big hall (name Shakuntala) which is equipped with tennis and badminton courts. Students practise a lot of activities there like dance, badminton etc. College also organizes there events here in this hall. For the last two years no annual fest or freshers organized here. ( I guess because of COVID-19) College has a lot of active clubs for different fields. Like For Sports - Eklyvya Club For Drawing - Srijan Club etc. There are clubs for dancing, singing, tech and a lot more. These cells are very active. They organize different inter and intra college competitions.
