NIT Jamshedpur Review

NIT Jamshedpur B.Tech eligibility criteria are Candidate must have passed his 10+2 with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have studied PCM from any recognized board of education.

Tech] {Hons.} Computer science and engineering Electronics and Communication engineering Production engineering Electrical engineering Civil engineering Metallurgy engineering Mechanical engineering I opt for production engineering because I had it as an option and I was more inclined towards Gate. The faculty and student ratio is quite good, Faculties are well qualified. The term exam is moderate.

This year it is compulsory for all the 8th-semester students to do internships in their final semester. we got ample opportunities to get a number of internships during our placement season. It is compulsory to do 6 months internship in the final semester.

The placement of the college is really nice. The student is eligible for placement from the 7th semester. Many companies like Amazon, Zs, Credence, and Tata visit our campus for core and non-core. For the last year, around 90% of the students got placed. The average package was around 14 LPA and the highest was 80lpa.

The scholarship is only offered to the students of Jharkhand state belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories. Also, the student's annual income from all sources should not exceed INR 2,00,000 for sc/st students and INR 1,00,000 for OBC students.

Life at College is very good, there is a cultural fest, sports fest, and techno fest every year. There are around 125000 books in the library. The classroom is well equipped with a projector, and ACs and is neat and clean. The college has different sports like volleyball, cricket, football, basketball, badminton and many more. Some of the clubs are Sankalp, Beat breakers, and Invicta.

Every student from 2nd year will get a single room. The hostels are quite good and they are regularly maintained. The food in the hostel's mess is not up to the mark, quality is medium. Mega mess is the biggest mess of the college having a capacity of 1600 students.
