Remarks
The admission process itself was quite easy and convenient. The application form was available on the site itself along with all the necessary information required like fee structure, dates, eligibility criteria, and so on. although usually there is an entrance exam, it wasn't there for my batch as I applied during peak of COVID.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since I've always been passionate about fashion, It was an obvious choice for me to choose fashion communication. The faculty is great and we often have guest lecturers for workshops and guest faculties to teach us whole modules. Most of the teachers also have industry experience which gives us great insight. There are juries instead of exams at the end of every semester.
Internships Opportunities
Some companies that came for internships and placements over the years are Deloitte, tata motors, Pune gas, Elle, outhouse, nift, voltas, surreal design studio, Accenture, first cry, reliance brands and so on.
Placement Experience
From the 6th semester onwards, students become eligible for placements. There are various fields in the industry where students can work depending on their specialisations. There is a placement cell that helps with such opportunities. Infosys, Deloitte, Elle, IMB are some companies that offer employability,
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The average fee per year is 4 lakhs, there are some scholarships available as well. We have a placement cell on campus that helps us with opportunities and course internships in our third year. Besides that, taking internships on our own is always encouraged.
Campus Life
The overall campus life is very lively. We have a couple of annual events like our fest Fundamentals, a craft event called Shilpkatha, and a design showcase at the end of the academic year. Besides this, we have a student council that hosts workshops, clubs, activities, and events throughout the year.
