Remarks
For BSc. biotechnology the applicant must have above 55% marks in 12th. The application form is available on the website of the college, the application is free of cost, after filling out the form the applicant has to pay Rupees five thousand to lock the seat, the application forms are released in May. overall the admission procedure is simple and less hectic.
Course Curriculum Overview
I opted for Bsc Biotechnology because of my keen interest in biology and its application in our day-to-day life. The student-faculty ratio was 50:1. The faculties are NET qualified and Ph.D. faculty members were very professional while teaching, polite, and supportive. And had the best teaching methods. The course is divided into semesters and one has to work hard on their studies to score good marks in the end-term exams.
Placement Experience
From 2nd semester one is eligible for campus placements. But one should go for Msc. in biotechnology after completing graduation The placements are not so good. mainly the students of management get placed in the campus placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is 45000 per year and the approx. cost to complete the course will be 3-4 lakhs including food and lodging. There are various scholarships and financial assistance for bright students. There is a separate department for placements and scholarships.
Campus Life
Every year 2 fests take place freshers party(in September) and techno fest(in April). All books and study materials are available in all the libraries of the college. All classrooms are fully ventilated, properly furnished, and monitored by CCTV. Various Sports And extracurricular activities also take place. There are 4 clubs in all four departments.
