Remarks

Overall college is very rich in infrastructure. Classes are also regular.All the class attendance and marks update are shown in college websites every day.Our Library has more than 15,000 books.The campus is clean and beautiful.Every student have to maintain strict discipline on the college campus.

Entrance Preview

Our cut-off mark for admission is 200. Divided as 100 for Mathematics and 100 as Physics+chemistry.I did not take any online entrance examination.Simply passing Intermediate (10+2) with PCM is compulsory for B.Tech in Mechanical.No, online Entrance exam is conducted in our college for admission.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a private college, our college introduces scholarship facilities. Course fees are very high.So for study, a student must take educational fees or loan.They can clear scholarships in installments.Meritorious students of every department also receive scholarships.Students belong to minority commission also receive minority scholarships.

Campus Life

Our college campus has 24*7 Online Learning Centre.British examination center and Cambridge University.Well- stocked central library with computing facilities journals and e-journals.The whole campus is smoking free.Every classroom is provided with air-condition and proper ventilation system.

Hostel Facilities

I am very happy that our Hostel is ragging free.Before coming here I heard many scary stories about ragging. It is also smoking free.No one can smoke.There is a warden in our hostel who supervise the hostel.24*7 security vigilance in our hostel.I totally enjoy my life in the college hostel.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Faculty

Experienced faculty. More than 30 of our faculty are PhDs.Teachers use smart board facility with an Internet connection while teaching. A group of the teacher is in placement cell and they all are very active for placements of students.They always support us in the time of placements.

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. SRM in Chennai has this. but I chose gitam because of its culture which if far better than SRM. there's no regional barrier since I'm from the same city as my college. teachers and all are helpful here compared to faculty there . the admission process is simple , you have to write for entry called GAT which provides scholarship based on score . and it's easy to crack it ....Read More

Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
