Entrance Preview

Our selection for admission is based on the cut-off marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Science Stream.Cut off mark is 200.100 marks for Mathematics and 100 for Physics+ Chemistry.The process of admission is purely provisional and subject to confirmation of GITAM University.

Campus Life

Our Department is equipped with laboratories.The Laboratories are aesthetically designed with state of art equipment.Our department has also excelled in the fields of projects.The aim of our college is to develop within each student a robust professional skill.College campus is very beautiful with an eco-friendly environment.

Hostel Facilities

The good thing in our Hostel is that it is ragging free campus.The surroundings are clean and hygienic.There are entertainment halls with multi-channel television facility.Our campus is also smoking free.A Separate hostel is provided for both boys and girls.For boys, there is a gymnasium on the hostel.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumnus from college now engaged in top companies, leading banks, various industries etc.Most of them qualified in campus and off-campus interviews. Alumni meet in our college is organized every year.Every passed-out students gather and spent some quality time with each other.Teachers are also invited to this program.

Exam Structure

Our course is 4 years and it is based on semesters.The class strength for theory course is about 60 and laboratory course is 30. Sessional exams and class tests are compulsory.After every 6-month final exam held. After Final exam practicals in our college laboratory conducted.The Exam schedule is not so hectic.

Campus placements are provided from college. Highest they show was 60Lpa obviously off campus and was in the year 2022 but there were quite good ones from AWS 32 lpa, yugabyte 44lpa, Morgan Stanley 29lpa. Average package is 5.9lpa. Percentage of students getting placed is dropped slightly because of the increase in studemt intake

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
