Remarks

Our Department offers best and updated practical training.It had 4 well-equipped laboratories including a dedicated laboratory for PG Students.All the computers in the Lab had internet Connection.Multimedia lab, System software lab, M. E-lab an RDBMS Lab were the 4 labs.

Entrance Preview

In my course, a total number of the seat is 60.Admission is purely provisional and subject to confirmation from GITAM University.A student should have passed a higher secondary examination from a recognized University in Science stream with subjects combination like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course curriculum is for 4 years.It was based on semesters.The whole course is not based only on theory, instead, we have practical paper also. The curriculum is designed to know all the computer applications and software.So I found my syllabus is very interesting.

Placement Experience

Placements opportunities are available in our college.Especially in my course, there are 100% placements.Teachers did very hard work for us and in the time of Campus Interview, they fully support us.In my final year, I got placement in one of the leading IT company in the world IBM.Total 20 students of my batch were enrolled in IBM.

Campus Life

In various departments of our college, 850 Desktops and 10 Servers were provided in different laboratories.We had to do most work on Computers, So computer labs were opened till 6:30 P.M.In our Library, 20 computers were provided.So, overall our campus had all the necessary things.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel mess of our college is well designed and spacious. To different needs of students dining hall is maintained.Foods were available from Indian, Chinese to Continental.During different festivals, a special menu was also offered to us.To cater needs of the student's separate canteen was also available.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

biomedical engineering is available in a very few colleges. SRM in Chennai has this. but I chose gitam because of its culture which if far better than SRM. there's no regional barrier since I'm from the same city as my college. teachers and all are helpful here compared to faculty there . the admission process is simple , you have to write for entry called GAT which provides scholarship based on score . and it's easy to crack it ....Read More

Affordable college, needs improvement.

Applied to a couple of NLUs did not get the T1 or T2 NLUs, and did not want to go to T3 NLUs for the sake of the name, tried other private colleges but they were super expensive compared to this. I got accepted to all the private colleges that I applied to, and all of the T3 NLUs. The college has its own general admission test GAT, which is simple enough to be taken easily, a seperate personal interview is also conducted, though as far as I am aware, it is not a ground for rejection currently....Read More
