Remarks

admission is done on the basis of jee the main rank followed by jossa counseling. application forms are present on nta site of jee main having fees of around 650 rupees. 27%reservation benefit for obc . admission process should be fast and quick.

Course Curriculum Overview

I opt for civil engineering because I have to prepare for the gate examination. Faculty: student ratio is 20. Most of the faculty members have done Ph.D. from IIT. semester examinations are done after every 6 months, exams are moderate, and easy to get a good cgpa.

Class Size: 113Course Fees: INR 125000 per year

Internships Opportunities

In the civil branch, almost 10 to 15 students have got internship offers. The internship at this college is good. non-core companies have made a lot of internship offers for the circuital branches. core branches have limited internship offers.

Placement Experience

placements of the college are very good. placements start as soon as the students enter the 7th semester. many companies like Oracle, Microsoft, Google, etc visit the college for non-core. also companies like lnt visit for the core. in the civil branch, the highest package is 28 lac and the average package was 9 lac. for this current year, almost 80 percent of the students are placed. After getting the degree I will take placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are around 500000 rupees for 4 years which is a decent amount, there is no fee hike in the college. fee remission is provided on the basis of the annual income of the family. cost of the study is very much affordable.

Campus Life

life at the college is very good, there is a cultural fest, sports fest, techno, and management fest every year. there are around 125000 books in the library. the classroom is well equipped with a projector, and AC and is neat and clean. Colleges are well equipped with different sports like volleyball, football, cricket, etc. there are many clubs like rooh , eco rider, btbs, and maqny more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
