Remarks

I applied on the website and.ac.in before the due date and got an email for the admission confirmation. The entrance test did not happen because of covid that time but now it is being conducted. The site was a bit slow and it was a little difficult to apply but it was okay.to find the application form or fee details or to apply we have to go to the website and.ac.in and scroll down to campus admissions and you will get details regarding entrance test dates and syllabus and eligibility criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choose the course because it is considered high for job opportunities and I had a great interest in mathematics. Several students per class 85-100 students. The faculty is highly educated and they provide brief information about anything and everything that they teach. they provide proper study material and the teaching method depends on teacher to teacher. most of the teachers are pretty much nicer and well-qualified. exams happen after every 4-5 months and a mid-semester examination for marks 20 is held in mid of the semester. it is quite difficult to pass the exam as the syllabus is difficult for the honors courses and the exams are set as so with hard difficulty levels.

Internships Opportunities

4

I don't know about that as we still did not get any chance of placements or internships. I am a second-year student these things are for the final year. And the university is good at providing placements. I am not much clear about the pros and cons

Placement Experience

4

After BSc students are eligible for placements. I don't know much about that because am still in 2nd year. I think 60-70 thousand placements are common here. The percentage should be 7-9cgpa to get good placements. My plans are an option a higher degree is MSC mathematics honors after doing a BSc and then getting a placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are high compared to other government universities. the fees for the odd semesters are about 40-50k and for the even semester about 10-15k. the cost for a hostel for one year is 20k..scholarships are provided mostly for the bc/sc category. In general, there is a fee concession form for even semesters that you can apply and chances are that you may get a concession in fees. I am not sure about jobs or placements because I am in my second year still.

Campus Life

5

The campus is such such such a beautiful place to live in. Filled with greenery..provided with such great facilities inside the campus. the the library is so so so huge and all kinds of books and novels are present there. sports and other curricular activities are also done based on a person's interest. Youth fest and jashan in university are done every year and they are so great with such a huge audience. every week a small program mehfil is conducted for the entertainment of students. many social parties are run by students for student welfare.

Hostel Facilities

4

I am living in the university hostel only. Free wifi is provided in the accommodation. We can access wifi and electronic facilities at any time we want. A stationary shop, a laundry shop, and canteens are provided inside the hostel. Entry time at night is till 9:30 p.m.There would be fine if we come late to the hostel. the process for registration is so simple for a hostel. we have to go through the agenda. ac. on the website and look for the hostel's option and then apply on it by filling in our accurate details. The meal quality is not so great. We eat in the hostel mess.33 rs is the charge for one diet. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided in the mess. Bill is on monthly basis. The taste is not so great. But have to eat as there is no other option other than eating in canteens. which is not money appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course that is bsc in artificial intelligence and data science is quite demanding and I think this is the only field which is growing faster. Another reason for choosing this was I had huge interest in this field. But faculty, their teaching way and syllabus is too way less as compared to course. They focus more on their rather than the practical work but in this field practical work is more important than theory as theory plays no role in this field . They must reduce the number of mid sem exams conducted and focus more on making students better in practical work. After the starting of semester, just after 25 days when syllabus not even completed as the 1st unit.. they shout spreading the news of exams. We just got too busy in exams which make us feel distracted from our real work .

I choose this course because I wanted to do higher studies in Physics and then I want to work in ISRO as a scientist. Faculty:student ratio is 1:15 Professors and Staff members as highly qualified. They are very supportive. Always ready to help students. Semester exams are little bit difficult but can be passed easily if you have done hard work during the semester.
