Remarks

There is no entrance exam. According to the percentage criteria of 12 th class or any equivalent degree and based on reservation. we should apply for the colleges on the DOST website, where we can put web options of colleges and we can check the college fee in the college portal according to the fee we can proceed to the college. After being allotted to the college where we have to submit all certificates and original Tc to the college and fill out the application form, also we should pay the 1 st year college fees on the spot.

I choose the MSCs because I am interested in statistics. Our statistics mam is the gold medalist of ou in Ph.D. and our maths mam also the topper of AIR ranker. At City College all lectures are experienced people working also the guest faculty explains excellently. At the time of 1 st semester, I felt tensed somewhat but it was easy because our teachers taught the subjects very neatly, so we don't face any difficulty in exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

When we joined our course fee is 4800 but now it is hiked to 7k + We got a scholarship of 4500 and also a check of 3000 from the College. We have a TSKC placement cell in our where they provide many opportunities for students many MNCs like Genpact, Wipro, Accenture, and so on participated I got selected into Wipro. But I don't want to go for a job I want to do higher studies. so I rejected the offer letter

Campus Life

We have an Azam hall we celebrate all the festivals in our college like the famous city college bonus, freshers and farewell fests also Recently we have completed 100 years in our college in that occasion we have participated in many games and cultural activities. also, different college students, we have welcomed them to participate. Our college library is also famous where we can have a competitive book as well as academics and also the biographies of great personalities. We have a games room where we can play in our free time. The main club ABVP in our college is run by students. Above is a club where the people will be ready to solve the problems of students in every college. They always stood for the students

In my collage we have no sports in any occasion
That's why I'm dislike my collage and in exams teacher are. Dry strictly
Some students are fail in exams those are not prepared

I would take in intermediate bipc course and I have dream in MBBS I wrote neet exams but I can't get seet that's why I want to choose degree and then I take bsc life sciences and I complete and then take MSc to higher studies and special at chemistry and teech tha class to intermediate and school levels that's my goal and teach the subject with students at good knowledge to study

In 12th semester or last semester students become eligible for campus placements. Vision Express, Lawrence and Mayo these companies visited and offered for jobs. Students will get 100% placements. Now I'm doing job in Vision Express.

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

Likes

I really like the faculty in the college. Most of the faculty are so supportive. They would be available to help us during any time of the day.
I really like the mentor system that this college follows. We are provided with mentors and they supervise our academic performance
This college do provide with many clubs like cooking club, photography club and many more. The management also encourages us a lot to paticipate in events

Dislikes

I really get mad with the attendance system here. I have to attend 7 to 8 classes to increase 1% where as if i miss 1 class i will lose 1%
The campus is located outside the city outskirts so its really hard to get things.
This university only conducts one mid for semester and that leads to reduce in marks

Placement Experience:

My course is a 3 years course and the students could try for a placement from the start of 3rd year. They would have enough knowledge about the outside world by that time and they could start to apply for jobs and companies that they desire to work for. In our stream there are many companies that have visited us like gala foods, Nestle, Calavita, National Biodiversity Authority, Dodla Diary etc. I do not have an excat idea about the packages but that would range across 8LPA to 14LPA. Almost every student around 95 % get placed into the companies and few also opt for government sector for Quality Control Management, FSSAI and etc. My plans after completing B.Sc in Food Sciences Technology would be pursuing Masters degree
