Remarks

If you have passed 12 standards with an Arts minimum of 45% marks then you will be eligible for this college entrance. You will apply online & you must get the application form after publishing your 12 th result. If you are from the reserve category then you will surely get reservation benefits. This college is one of the best women's colleges in Kolkata. So far my knowledge goes all alumni from this college get a better job in the future. I'm also an assistant teacher at a renowned school in this subject. Teachers are very compassionate and amicable. There is a good ambiance for education. So I highly recommended the College for the women's community to enlighten themselves with prosperity.

I choose the course for further education with this dynamic subject. Student-teacher ratio of this course is 25:1.I think it is quite better than other colleges. All the faculties of this course are lucrative. Some of them are Ph.D. & some of them get M.phil degrees. The teaching process of this institution is unique. It helps the student to improve their skill in this particular course. Sometimes 1:1 or 1:2 ratio is also maintained to uplift students' perfection. So you choose the college and the subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nominal fees are taken which one student can afford without any hesitation. As this college is only for women candidates so every student gets a kanyasree scholarship from the west Bengal Govt with pride & honor. Apart from this meritorious student also get the Vivekanda Merit cum scholarship and the college provide some benefit who come from an unprivileged society.

Campus Life

In the month of Aug-sep annual fest have been held. But it will change time after time. There is an awesome library where you can get enormous books whichever you want to read. You must take a library card and also renew the card time after time. The cultural fest which is held every year is a spectacular one.

We were held a class for upto 1hrs, thus we had 4 class a day. Sometimes it is boaring sometimes it becomes striking, it depends on the mood. It is to say little knowledge is a dangerous thing, if you don't read you cannot pass the semester examination. Although it will provide you a second chance. But with change of syllabus the exam pattern also change. You need to attain a total percentage of 75(%) to maintain you honours subject otherwise you would be regarded as programme course student.

Management of admission process was very easy and good. No entrance exam is required for admission in this college. Students can apply for admission on the basis of higher secondary marks. Good marks in Bengali and English subjects are required in higher secondary for admission to graduate level in Journalism. Journalism & Mass Communication course fee is 15,680 per year . For admission in this college you have to apply on the official website of the college. The admission process start and end date and all related information is provided on that website. My personal opinion is that there is no need to change the procedures for admission in this college.
