Remarks

To get admission to this college, one has to go through a common entrance test of this college called BVP CET. Cutoffs are generally high for the computer and IT branches and E&TC branches. To be eligible for this course one needs a minimum of 75 percent marks in 12th. The application form is available on its official website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course for the wide opportunity it will provide to me. The student-to-faculty ratio is generally 6:1. Most of the professors are Ph.D. holders and have fairly good methods to teach. The term exams were on time but they were a little difficult to pass.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester. Most of the students get placed. Mostly in the mass recruiters. Companies like Amdocs, Amazon , TATA, Infosys visit. The highest package generally differs every year but it oscillates around 15 lakh to 25 lakh every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee hike is generally there. It cost me 120 thousand each year to study. Scholarships for army brats and women and people for Bihar can be availed. There isn't any scholarship from the college itself.

Campus Life

The college has an annual fest named Bhartiyam and they are conducted in the month of February. Most of the books present in the library cover the curriculum of the branches. But there are books which are quite good. Classrooms are provided with projectors. The college has a ground which can be used for football and cricket. It also has a basketball court. Many clubs namely LEO, and GDSC too work in the college.

Truths about MIT-WPU

Placement Experience:

Students generally get eligible to placement from 6th semester. Some top Companies for cse placemnt which comes are Zs associates,Morgan stanley,tcs,wipro and barclays. Highest package was around 54lpa Average is around 7 lpa There is around 80%median placements.Some students opt for masters abroad. My plan is though to prepare for placement currently but lets see what happens maybe opting for masters could be a plan B.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i have decided to only go for computer science but as my entrance exam score was not that much good. So i decided to go for ai&ds branch as it have much scope than cse. Ai&ds syllabus is very much similar to cse branch so not that much difference. Some practical practice need to be improved in place of learning theory.

The reason I chose this college were that i due to some personal issues and problems scored less marks in MHT-CET, JEE and other competetive exams which made it difficult to get admission into other colleges. BVPCOEP conducted a personal CET exam on the basis of which I was selected. They also considered 12th boards marks(minimum 65% required PCM or Physics, chemistry, and computer science(vocational course)).
