Remarks

The general CAP rounds conducted by DTE were the admission process for the college/course. The eligible student must have scored above 60% in 12th boards or must have above 6 CGPA in the diploma. The admission process was fine and smooth for me. I had no problem in the process.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is of my interest, this is one of the reasons why I choose this course. The faculty-student ratio is also fine at 1:20. Every faculty of the college/department is qualified as Ph.D. and has Doctorate degrees (some are pursuing). Examinations are also conducted on regular basis giving students opportunities to improve over time.

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 109616 per year

Placement Experience

Once students are in 3rd year of their academics they are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Infocepts, Amantya Technologies, and more have been visited for placements offering CTC of 3-6LPA. According to last year's record, 70% of students have been placed in the Computer Technology branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college relies on a caste basis. For the General category it is 109616/- per year, TFWS- 12616/- per year. Fees may vary castewise. Along with these students with caste-based fees are receiving scholarships.

Campus Life

Fests are conducted at the Department level and also annual gathering is held. Students can access a vast library of books, journals, and magazines. College also focuses on sports and cultural activities.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I appleid for ycce college , raisoni and priyadarshini college of engineering in which i got priyadarshini with branch etc which was unexpected . I was not expecting this but when i researched and studied i found it was worth getting as it has many facilities than other college and the staff is wonderful. I dont no what went wrong with me in other colleges as i was eligible for it i got 82% in cet exam but i didn't get it. For getting admission in pce you should pass 10+2 with good percentage and should appear for cet . You can directly get admission or can get through the cap round....Read More
