Eligibility is very simple, you need to pass class 12th with a recognized board, state or national. Your fee structure depends on the percentage you score in your 12th class. The scholarship will be given to high-percentage scorers.

Course Curriculum Overview

ECE is an evergreen branch that gives us a broader career opportunity rather than focusing in one direction. Mentors are assigned to every 20 students for better vigilance and guidance. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and they conduct exams in a very strict way.

Internships Opportunities

The internship is offered from 2nd year for well-performing students. Competition is very high so one needs to work extremely hard. Foreign internships and project work are also provided for deserving candidates.

Placement Experience

The placements are very good. ECE is the 2nd most place branch after CSE. The highest package of the 2021 batch is 45 lakhs per annum. The average package is 6-7 lakhs per annum. A total of 1500+ students are placed this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on your 12th percentage. >90% - 75% reduction in academic fees, >80%- 50% reduction and >70%- 25% reduction. Financial support is also provided. The placement is very decent. The highest package is 45 lakhs per annum.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good. Diversity is seen on campus. There is a total of 4- 5 huge libraries with lakhs of books. Fests, sports, and extra curriculum are conducted frequently. Many clubs like Arts, dance, coding, Drama, etc. are run by the students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not the greatest, but it is decent. Rooms are ok, but the ratio of students is a bit high per room. Minimum 3 and max 5 in a standard room. The hostel food is good. They provide a variety of food every day.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.
