Remarks

At the time of my admission, there was Covid 19 pandemic for which the eligibility was based on the percentage of class 12th but generally the university has an entrance exam with the name VTUEEE which is conducted every year. And based on the performance scholarship is provided to students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is a credit-based system and also the students are provided with ample courses, if we consider the faculty, they too are good but the overall academics feel too happening.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 162500 per year

Placement Experience

When we talk about the placement , the placement are really good , but student must take care of their arrears and not eligible subjects. The highest package when to 44 LPA at Amazon last year. So placements are really quite good.

Fees and Financial Aid

At this time the fees vary from 145,000 to 210,000 depending upon in what phase you are taking admission and every year it is almost hiked by 10 percent, students can apply for government scholarships, but the placement is really good especially when we consider Computer Science Engineering.

Campus Life

There are several social groups and culture which includes the music group, sports club, coding club, and many more. There is a library, and all books are available. But college life is not so happening but we can spend a descent engineering life in 4 years.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

Firstly I haven't got good marks in my APEAMCET exam and next thing is I came to know that my relatives sons have also graduated from the Vel tech University.
