Remarks
I gave my jee entrance exam, and scored an average of 80 percentile, though it wasn't good though. But Dronacharya college didn't concern much about your jee percentile. I got admission on basis of my 12th grades only, and they said you can avail from what all the seats are available right now, as I was a month late for admissions, but it was easy for anyone could apply for CS Engineering here. The admission process was quite simple, I made my admission procedure through their office branch in Gurgaon, also campus admissions and online admission applications are available on the college website. There aren't any such chargeable fees for admission forms physically, but maybe online, it could be, IDK much about that. Though it's an easy procedure to get into this college. But, I would recommend you first take a campus tour and visit the college before taking admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am currently pursuing computer science engineering with a specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning, though it is an emerging field in the engineering sector nowadays and got a wide variety of scope, even though I have a keen interest in AI. So opted for this course. The faculty is good and supportive and basically depends on person to person. Teachers and professors would work hard for students to learn, though they are not that professional, that one would be encouraged to study. But they are supportive very. Teachers are qualified though from different universities and some are even from the same college placed within here only, a few are from some high-ranking institutions like bits or IIT, but they don't tend to teach much. Thus, faculty has a decent or I would say good qualification acc. to the college. The teaching method is what I don't like, teachers mostly focus on theoretical knowledge and usually, students don't understand often much of what they teach.
Placement Experience
Students from the 6th semester till the 7th are eligible to sit for placements within the campus. Companies like TCS, Infosys, adobe(for girls only), amazon, freecharge and many small tech companies offer a decent and average package of around 3.5 lac ranging from 3 to 10 lac, 12,15lpa is the highest, which the few 1 or 2 two students are able to crack. Students with an average of 7 and above GPA are capable to get placed and with sufficient skills and knowledge of languages and their subjects and basic aptitude they can qualify for the placement rounds which include aptitude and coding round and then interview for those who qualify. I have got different plans than solely dedicated to engineering only. Qualifying gate exam and ought to pursue in defence, so trying for CDs rather than just engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite high, Delhi colleges ought to charge lower fees for the same course, and it feels expensive according to the facilities and education provided the fees is more than that. Usually, it's around 70k per semester. I don't recognise any such scholarship or financial assistance given to students of this college. Through lateral entry students have to pay half of only what we pay. And there's no such direct scope of stipend or any job within or through the campus during your college days. So u have to find aid for yourself somewhere else and can't rely on the college solely for that.
Campus Life
If you take admission to this college then you are willingly sacrificing your college life, this college is usually known for its discipline and strictness. There is no such tech fest or fest usually within the college, it would seem boredom of college days. So you don't get anything interesting events or fests in the college. The college has got a nice decent library with a variety of books on different courses and subjects, though you can't just go anytime to the library u wish, it's not like other colleges, here u get a specific period for a library like school days. Within the classroom, there are staircase benches and that's it, you have got fans and a not-good working projector. Still, it isn't a big concern. There is a badminton court, volleyball court, tennis court and ground, you could enjoy it there for a while in your sports period. Though there isn't any extracurricular activity related to sports or any event, sports are just for a showcase within the college. There are a few clubs and societies
Other Applied Colleges
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University - [GGSIPU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
I was waiting for the final cut off, even got admission in Bhagwan Parshuram college of Engineering but was able to get ece only there, though i was looking for cse or something new. So i opted for dronacharya as it was offering new courses like artificia
