Remarks

There were no such entrance exams and the admission process was smooth and easy. You are eligible for the course depending upon the results of your board, the GUJCET entrance exam, and the JEE exam. The application forms can be found on the University website. The overall admission process was transparent.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Computer Science as I had an interest in web development and data science. On average a faculty is allotted to a batch of 20 students. All the faculties are experienced and are pursuing their Ph.D. in their respective fields or are present here as research fellows. Term exams are not that hard to pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 128000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many research projects can be done under the faculties of your department and even other departments. These projects are open and are refreshed every year. You can approach any faculty just by looking into their Department website and knowing their Open Projects.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. I am currently in the 5th sem so I don't have a clear idea about the placements. But based on the inputs from seniors there is a 100% placement policy at our institute. I am opting for further studies abroad.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are planning to study further you should consider CHARUSAT university as it is an A+ graded university by NAAC now and the cost comparison is not that high. There are many Scholarships, Financial schemes like MYSY, etc.

Campus Life

Every year Spoural, Cognizance, and Convocations are held. Classrooms are well equipped with technology like Projectors, PCs, Air conditioners, etc. Many sports and extracurricular activities can be carried out on campus.

Placement Experience:

the placement at vgec at decent, especially considering it is a government college with very low fees. student become eligible for campus placement from the 6 th and the main placement drives begin in the 7 th and 8 th semesters. many well known compnies visit the camppus every tear for software , core engineering and management roles. compnies like TCS, infosys, wipro , taat consultancy, adani, gsfc,and a few stertup hire students from different branches. the number of offers varies every year , but the overall trend is improving . some companies offer multiple job roles such as software engineer , QA engineering , embendede engineering , trainee engineering and analyst position . higher pacage is 5 lacks. after completing my degree , i plan to focus on improving my technical skills .

Decent college with room to grow

Placement Experience:

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester.The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree,wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also,beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects,they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
